or any of the powers vested in the Governor or
the Governor in Council by the said Act, ex-
cept the powers conferred by sections 7, 8, 15,
27 and 40 thereof, subject or not subject to any
limitations or restrictions as he may think fit.
Now, therefore, I, Thomas Gore Browne, the
Governor as aforesaid of the said Colony, with
the advice and consent of the Executive Coun-
cil thereof, and in exercise of the power and
authority for this purpose in me vested, do
hereby delegate absolutely and without restric-
tion unto
JOHN PERRY ROBINSON, Esq.,
as Superintendent of the Province of Nelson,
all the powers vested in me under or by virtue
of "The Gold Fields Act, 1858," except the
powers contained in sections 7, 8, 15, 27 and
40 of the said Act, to have, hold and exercise
within the Province of Nelson, the said powers
hereby given, the said John Perry Robinson so
long as he shall continue and remain Superin-
tendent of the said Province and no longer.

Her Majesty's Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies,
and Vice-Admiral of the same,
&c., &c., &c.
TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS SHALL
COME, GREETING :
WHEREAS it has been publicly notified
that an International Exhibition of
Agricultural and Industrial Products will be
held at London in the year One thousand eight
hundred and sixty-two. And whereas a Com-
mission was issued under my hand and seal,
bearing date the Fourth day of August last,
appointing Commissioners in several of the
Provinces in the Colony of New Zealand, for
the purpose of receiving articles the produce or
manufacture of the said Colony, and of select-
ing and transmitting to London such articles
as may be thought worthy of exposition in the
said International Exhibition, and of communi-
cating with Her Majesty's Commissioners in
England respecting such transmission. And
whereas it is expedient that the persons here-
under mentioned should be also appointed as
Commissioners for the Province of Taranaki in
addition to those already appointed by the said
recited Commission. Now Know Ye, that I,
Thomas Gore Browne, Governor of the said
Colony, have thought fit to appoint, and by
these Presents do constitute and appoint the
persons hereunder mentioned in addition to
those already appointed by the said Commis-
sion to be Commissioners in the Province of
Taranaki, for the purposes above mentioned,
viz:-
GEORGE RUTT BURTON,
GEORGE CURTIS,
RICHARD PHENEY.
And I do by these Presents give and grant
to the above persons in conjunction with those
already appointed as aforesaid, or any two or
more of them, full power and authority to carry
into effect the purposes of the said Commission,
by all lawful means whatsoever.

Appointing limits of Port of Auckland.

the Bath, Governor and Com-
mander-in-Chief in and over
Her Majesty's Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies,
and Vice-Admiral of the same,
&c., &c., &c.
IN exercise of the power in me for this pur-
pose vested by "Customs Regulation
Act 1859" I Thomas Gore Browne the Gov-
ernor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby
annul the limits of the Port of Auckland as
appointed by an order given under my hand at
Auckland, on the eighteenth day of October,
one thousand eight hundred and fifty-nine; and
do hereby appoint that from the day of the
date hereof the limits of the Port of Auckland
shall be and comprise the City of Auckland,
with the Waters of the Waitemata River, the
Harbour of Auckland, and the Rangitoto
Channel, respectively, inside of a line drawn
due West from the extremity of Rangitoto reef
to the mainland, and of a line drawn due North
from West Tamaki Head to the Island of
Rangitoto, and to the Eastward of a line
drawn due South from Kauri Point in the
Waitemata River to the opposite shore.

day of September, one thousand
