Russell, Bay of Islands, deceased intestate. from all benefit arising from the said estate.

November next, to come in and prove their debts

NOTICE OF HEARING.

Court of Claims, Auckland, September 19th, 1859.

PURSUANT to the Land Claims Settlement Acts the Claims specified in the an-
nexed Schedule will be investigated in open Court, at Auckland, on Saturday, 1st day of
October next, and following days, at which time and place the Claimants and all parties inter-
ested are required to attend, with their witnesses and the original deeds or documents relating to
the respective claims.

SCHEDULE.

Claimant. Where situate. Nature of Claim.
Robert Simpson Thomson Whau These are claims under pre-emption certificates Nos. 154 and 171 in favour of claimant for 800 acres and 900 acres respectively. Commissioner Matson, 23rd June, 1848, recommended the issue of a Grant for 500 acres.
George Hart Papakura This is a claim under pre-emption certificate No. 121, dated 3rd January 1845, for 850 acres in favor of claimant. Disallowed 15th June, 1848.
Mary Kelly Waitemata This is a claim under pre-emption certificate No. 129, dated 14th January 1845, for 800 acres in favor of John Fair, who was afterwards drowned. On the application of the widow, Mary Fair, Governor Fitzroy consented to the certificate being made out in the name of the widow and her eldest son, jointly, for 800 acres.
Adam Chisholm Papakura This is a claim under pre-emption certificate No. 120, dated 3rd January 1845, in favour of claimant for 1000 acres. Disallowed 15th June, 1848.
Adam Chisholm Lucas' Creek This is a claim under pre-emption certificate No. 94, dated 17th December, 1844, in favour of claimant for 1200 acres. Disallowed 15th June, 1848.
Adam Chisholm Lucas' Creek This is a derivative claim under pre-emption certificate No. 91, dated 9th December, 1844, in favour of John Alfred Langford for 250 acres. Disallowed 15th June, 1848.
Adam Chisholm Waiheki This is a claim under pre-emption certificate No. 146, dated 14th January, 1845, in favour of Adam Chis- holm, for 850 acres.
Francis White Near Kororareka, Bay of Islands This was a claim of A. V. De Sentis, 323d Com- missioner Godfrey recommended no grant, 1st De- cember 1842, claimant not appearing. De Sentis transferred 11 acres to James Hamilton, who trans- ferred to John Kelly, from whom the present claimant derives.
Francis White An Islet called Motiti, Hokianga This was an original land claim, No. 243, of William White. Commissioners Richmond and Godfrey, 15th May 1843, recommended a grant to William White. Not acted upon.
