THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
Office of Minister for Native Affairs,
Auckland, 18th September, 1859.
TENDERS will be received at the Native
Secretary's Office until noon of Wednesday
the 5th proximo, from persons desirous to
contract for the bi-monthly Printing of the
"Maori Messenger," from the 1st instant to
the end of this year.
Security will be required for the due per-
formance of the contract, and the Tender
should be accompanied by a notification of the
consent of two parties who may be proposed
as sureties.
Further particulars may be obtained on ap-
plication at the Native Secretary's Office.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been
pleased to direct that the following
report by Josiah Flight, Esquire, one of
the Commissioners of Native Reserves for the
Province of Taranaki, should be published for
general information.

Report by Josiah Flight, Esquire, of the
Province of Taranaki, under the "New
Zealand Reserves Act, 1856."
Reserve called RUATANGATA.
The Natives whose names are given below
having the right to this Reserve, containing
five acres, and they being desirous of bringing
the same under the operation of the said Act,
have executed a conveyance of the same in
favour of her Majesty, the Reporter has, there-
fore, the honour to recommend that this
Reserve, as the same is delineated in the plan
drawn in the margin of the Deed of Convey-
ance sent herewith, should be brought under
the operation of the said Act.

been sent in to me, in addition to the Names
in Lists published respectively in the New
Zealand Gazette, No. 5, of the 27th of
January; No. 7, of the 19th of February;
No. 10, of the 19th of March; No. 11,
of the 5th April; No. 14, of the 29th
April; No. 16, of the 31st of May; No.
