tion Ordinance:

The Attorney General moved the order of
the day for the first reading of the Cattle Tres-
pass Bill, No. 2. Bill read a first time.
The Colonial Secretary moved the order of
the day for the third reading of the Customs
Duties' Bill. Bill read a third time and passed.
The Attorney General moved the suspension
of the standing rules, to enable the Council to
proceed with the second reading and considera-
tion in Committee of the Cattle Trespass Or-
dinance, No. 2.
Bill read a second time accordingly, com-
mitted, and further consideration postponed
until Saturday the 7th November.
The Attorney General gave notice that he
should move the third reading of the Police
Magistrates', and Native Exemption Ordinances
Repeal Bill, on Saturday the 7th November.
The Colonial Secretary gave notice that he
should move the first reading of the Land
Claims' Bill, on Saturday the 6th November.
The Governor laid on the Table, "A Bill for
Establishing Courts of Session of the Peace."
Ordered that said Bill be printed.
Council adjourned at half past three o'clock,
until one o'clock on Saturday, the 7th Nov.
