Islands, claimant.
200, Two hundred acre, morgonen situated,
at the Bay of Islands, adjousing pumping claim,
known by the name of Obog bol bolyand and running
from thence to land claimed by aptain Clendon,
in Maw-a-wa Bay.
Alleged to have been purchased from the native
chiefs as in preceding claim by claimant, in
conjunction with E. Powell and W. Dodds.
Consideration given to the natives-a quantity
of merchandize to the value of £77 5s. for this
and preceding claim of 300 acres.
Nature of conveyance-deed in favor of claim,
ants.
Case No. 339.-SAMUEL HARVEY, of the Bay of
Jalands, claimant.
500, Five hundred acres, more or less, situated
on the north side of the river Waikari, com-
mencing to the west at a point called Pua Pua,
continuing to the eastward to a creek walled Non-
geroa, bounded on the south by the Naikari
River, and on the north by land claimed by J. R.
Clendon.
Alleged to have been purchased from the na-
tives of the Waikari, on the 11th of January,
1839.
Consideration given to the nativer merchan-
dize to the value of £53 14s.
Nature of conveyance pot stated.
Case No. 340. CHARLES BABINGTON BREWER,
on behalf of the Koranssika Land Ompany,
claimant.
160, One hundred and sixty acres, more or less
situate on the North bank of the Waikato River,
Bay of Islands; bounded on the frontby the River
Waikato; on the west by a small creek and by land
claimed by - Daniels; on the north by a foot
path leading from Kororarika to Paroa Bay; on the
north-east and east sides to the said river by land
belonging to natives,
Alleged to have been purchased from the native
chiefs To Unga Rou, Timatatu, Kopokoriha,
and others, by Alexander Macgregor, presi-
dent of the Company, on their behalf.
Consideration given to the natives-a quantity
of merchandize, estimated at £67.
Nature of conveyance instrument in writing,
dated 9th November, 1839.
Case No. 340, (a) CHARLES BABINGTON BREWER,
on behalf of the Kororarika Land Company,
claimant.
- One hundred and eighty acres, more or lese
situated near Korovarika, boundaries not stated.
Alleged to have been purchased fromathwiNa-
tive chiefs Eware, Etuki Etite Eradi, Ebara,
by Alexander Macgregor, president, on behalf
of the Company.
Consideration given to the Natives-a quan-
tity of merchandize estimated at £45.
Nature of conveyance-Instruments in writing,
dated 1t1h Oct. 1839.
Case No. 340 (b) CHARLES BABINGTON BREWER,
on behalf of the Kororarika Land Company,
claimant.
- Two acres, more or less, situate at Koro-
ratika on what is called Mount Mike. Bounda-
ries not set forth.
Alleged to have been purchased from the na-
chief Mahore Kateokno by Thomas Spicer, on be-
half of the Company.
Consideration given to the patives a quantity
of merchandize, estimated at 10 10s.
Nature of conveyance-A receipt from the
above named natives for the money and goods
received by them in payment for the land, dated
14th Oct. 1839.
Case No. 340(c) CHARLES BABINGTON BREWER,
on behalf of the Kororarika Land Company,
claimant.
- Two and half acres, more or less, situate
at Kororarika, boundaries not stated.
Alleged to have been purchased from the na-
tive chief Erari by Thomas Spicer on be-
half of the Company.
Consideration given to the natives-a quantity
of merchandize and money to the amount of
£7 14s.
Nature of conveyance-A receipt, from the above
named native for the money and goods received
By him in payment of the said land.
Case No. 840 (d) CHARLES BALINGTON BREWER,
on behalf of the Kororarika Land Company,
claimant.
20 Twenty acres, meropt less, situate at Onen-
roa Beach at the back of Kororarika, bounded on
the north by the sea; on the south by a native
pathway leading from Kororarika Beach to Paroa
Beach; and on the east by land claimed by
Thomas Spicer.
Alleged to have been purchased from the na-
*tive chiefs Woorohi, Pau Ewi, Tuwahaki by
Alexander Macgregor on behalf of the Com-
pany.
Consideration given to the natives-money and
merchandize to the amount of £73.
Nature of conveyance-Instrument in writing,
dated Ist Nov. 1839.
Case No. 340, (e). CHARLES BABINGTON BREWER,
on behalf of the Kororarika Land Company
claimant.
3 roods 1 pole and 14 links situate at Koro-
rarika bounded on the 8. by Kororarika,
Beach, by a line tunning east-south-east from
Moore's corner to Clendon's corner, on the N W.
by Moore's fence, and running N. N. E. from
the beach, and found to the swamp, and from the
Swamp round by Clendon's corner to the beach.
Alleged to have been purchased from the native
chieſs A Kedo, Wauki, by Alexander M-
Gregor, on behalf of the Company.
Consideration given to the natives-170 ster-
ling.
