A piece of land situated at Kororarika, boun-
daries commencing at Johnsons corner on the
south and from thence by a line running NE ad-
joining land claimed by Mr. Johnson, then by a
line running north and by east adjoining land
claimed by Mr. Clayton, then by a line running
north-westerly adjoining land claimed by Con-
olly, then by a line running south-west and
bounded by land claimed by T. Spicer, then by a
line running south-westerly, then by a line run-
ning south-easterly to Johnsons corner.
Alleged to have been purchased from the native
chiefs Ewai, Etoki, Eradi, by Alexander M'Gre-
gor on behalf of the Company.
Consideration given to the natives—£140
sterling in money, and one horse.

A piece of land situate at Kororarika, at the back
of Captain Clayton's, bounded on the north by
land claimed by Captain Clayton, on the south
by land claimed by Thomas Spicer, on the east
by an intended street, to be called York-street,
and on the west by land belonging to the natives.
Alleged to have been purchased from the na-
tive chiefs Raka, Take, by Alexander M'-
Gregor, on behalf of the Company.
Consideration given to the natives £23 sterling.
Nature of conveyance, an instrument in writing
dated 29th December, 1839.
Case No. 341.—THOMAS GRENIER, of Kororarika,
claimant.
A piece of land situate at Kororarika, having a
frontage to Prospect-street, of one hundred and
thirty-two feet, and running back to within twenty
feet of the creek which forms the boundary in the
rear, having a depth of about two hundred and
thirty feet in the north boundary line, and two
hundred and ten feet in the southern.
Alleged to have been purchased from the native
chiefs Ewai, Etete Eparu, Etorahai, and
Etowi, on the 13th of September, 1839, by
Benjamin Evans Turner, who sold to Thomas
Spicer and John Weavell, who resold to
claimant.
Consideration given to the natives for the land
of which this claim is part a quantity of mer-
chandize and £29 in cash.
Nature of conveyance—not stated.
Case No. 341. (a)—THOMAS GRENIER, of Koro-
rasika, claimant.
"A piece of land situate at Kororarika, bounded
on the north by preceding claim ninety-five feet;
on the south by Queen-street, one hundred and
thirty-nine feet; on the west by a reserved road
seventy-nine feet; and on the east by an allotment
claimed by T. Spicer and J. Weavell, seventy-
nine feet.
Alleged to have been purchased from the native
chiefs Ewai, Etete, Eparu, Etorahai, and
Etowi, on the 13th of September, 1839, by
Benjamin Evans Turner, who sold to Thomas
Spicer and John Weavell, who resold to
claimant.
Consideration to the natives for the land of
