Resolved that Mr. Servantes act as Treasurer and Secretary for the current year.

Resolved that the Commissioner of Crown Lands be requested to apply for a Map of the hundred, for the use of Wardens, shewing the purchased land and the Crown Land, and including that portion of land on the eastern side of the Tamaki which is within the hundred of Panmure.

Otahuhu, April 10, 1850.

At a Meeting of the Wardens of the hundred of Otahuhu, held this day, Present, J. A. Hickson, and John McAnulty, it was agreed that the Waste Lands of the Crown in this hundred, containing 4,500 acres, is capable of depasturing 400 head of great cattle, and 800 head of small cattle, to be apportioned to the holders of Licenses for the current year, as follows, viz:

RULES or Regulations made the date hereto affixed by the Wardens of Onehunga whose signatures are attached, for regulating the depasturing of Stock within the Hundred of Onehunga, under the provisions of the Crown Lands' Ordinance, No. 1, Session 10, August 23, 1849. To Wit:—

1.—That all persons lawfully holding a depasturing license for the current year, for the hundred of Onehunga, may depasture on the Crown Waste Lands, of the northern portion of said hundred, any number of dairy stock, and also any number of Steers or Heifers under (2) two years old, and also any Great Cattle used by them or him for the purposes of draught or saddle, such stock being the bona fide property of such licensed persons respectively, and for which the assessment or assessments made, or at any time to be made by the Wardens of said hundred shall have been paid, and of which said stock the brands and other distinguishing marks as required under notice, issued, or to be issued, by the said Wardens shall have been conformably registered.

2.—Licensed persons hiring dairy stock, or oxen, or horses, for the purposes of draught, the same being so used by them, or him, and duly registered as such with the Wardens of the hundred aforesaid, may depasture such stock on the Crown Waste Lands aforesaid, providing such stock be liable to such notices, rules, and assessments as such similar stock the bona fide property of licensed persons are liable to.

3.—All great cattle, except as before excepted, or not duly registered, or on which the assessment or assessments have not been paid, and small cattle the property of persons holding a depasturing license for the hundred of Onehunga, found depasturing on the Waste Lands of the northern portion aforesaid shall be impounded.

4.—That the Northern portion of the Hundred of Onehunga be held to be as displayed by the map, and contained within the lands lying to the North or East of the Manukau or Onehunga water—and that the Southern portion be that described also by a map as being the lands known under the name of Mangarie, and lying South of the said water of Onehunga.

5.—Any Stock the property of licensed persons of the Hundred of Onehunga, which shall have been duly registered, and for which the assessment or assessments shall have been duly paid, may be depastured on the Crown Waste Lands on the Southern or Mangarie portion of the Hundred.

6.—That on all great cattle intended to be depastured on the South or Mangarie portion,
