Now, I, the Governor do hereby proclaim and appoint that the said Offices will be opened on the third day of June, one thousand eight hundred and fifty, and that such offices will open for business on all days but Saturday and Sunday, from ten o’clock until three o’clock, and on Saturday from ten o’clock until two o’clock.
Given under my Hand and issued under the Public Seal of the Islands of New Zealand, at Government House at Auckland, in the Province of New Ulster, on this 12th day of April, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty.

THE subjoined Regulations respecting the apportionment of Pasturage upon Crown Lands, in the undermentioned Hundreds respectively, having been duly received by me from the Wardens of those Hundreds, are now, in conformity with the 30th clause of the “Crown Lands’ Ordinance,” No. 1, Sess. 10, published for general information.

Having read the Crown Lands’ Ordinance, Session 10, No. 1; the Return of persons holding Depasturing Licenses and the land occupied by them; the Return of Crown Lands in Hundred and description of boundaries of Hundred; the Memorandum of Commissioner of Crown Lands on the duties of Wardens; and the rules of the Wardens for 1849—
It was estimated that the Crown Lands in the Hundred amounting to 1085 acres are capable of depasturing 838 head of great cattle, five head of small cattle being considered equal to one of great cattle.
Having taken into consideration the amount of money paid by the holders of Licenses into the Treasury, and the amounts expended in improvements, it was resolved that the following be the apportionment of cattle for the current year, viz.:

HIS Excellency the Governor-in-Chief has been pleased to appoint the following Gentlemen to be Commissioners in accordance with the provisions of the Ordinance entitled “the Paper Currency Ordinance,” to ascertain and certify the average number of Notes in circulation during the two years preceding the 1st day of July, 1847, so far as relates to the Union Bank of Australia, which were in circulation on the 30th of the said Bank in the Province of New Munster viz.:
