boundary of Section 541, and on the north by Ross
Town or South Strand, to be sold after the expira-
tion of three calendar months from this date, unless
the above judgment debt be sooner paid : And the
value of the estate or interest of the execution debtor
in such lands intended to be sold is freehold : And
further, that such lands or the estate or interest of
the said execution debtor therein have been taken in
execution at the suit of the said execution creditor.
The time and place fixed for such intended sale is
the 11th day of November, 1876, at twelve o'clock
noon, at Reefton, in the Province of Nelson, and
EDWARD SHAW is the name of the Sheriff under whose
authority such sale is advertised, and the name and
address of the solicitor for the execution creditor is
WILLIAM SYDNEY STAITE, of Bridge-street, Reefton
aforesaid.

ALTERATION OF ROADS.
THE Undersigned hereby gives notice, that he in-
tends to apply to two or more Justices of the
Peace, having jurisdiction within the Province of
Nelson, at a sitting to be held on Monday, the Fourth
day of December next, at the Court-house, Rich-
mond, for an order for stopping up and diverting
the undermentioned Roads, and further, that he will
cause Survey Plans of the several Roads proposed to
be stopped up and substituted, together with Books of
Reference, and Estimates, to be deposited, on or
before the Fourth day of November next, with the
Clerk to the Magistrates at Richmond; and with Mr
C. Knapp, Constable for Waimea South; and Mr.
T. Russ, Constable for Waimea West :—
To stop up a certain road in Waimea South,
commencing at six chains from the south-
east side of section 1 of 3 Pigeon Valley,
proceeding 29 chains north, through the
said section, and terminating at the north-
east side of such section.
To stop up a certain road in Waimea South,
commencing at the north-east side of section
1 of 1 Pigeon Valley, at a point 17 chains
from its eastern corner, proceeding west 51
chains through the said section, and termin-
ating at the north side of such section.
To stop up part of a certain road in Waimea
West, commencing at the south-west side of
section 54, proceeding 10 chains north-east
through the said section, and there ter-
minating.
And to substitute a certain other road 75 links
wide, commencing at the south west side of
Section 54, 75 links east of road proposed
to be stopped up, and proceeding north 9 1/4
chains through the said section until it
meets the first-named road.
