Superintendent's Office, Nelson,
July 31, 1874.

THE Voters of the Sub-district of NGATIMOTI
having failed, at a meeting duly called for that
purpose on the 6th instant, to elect a Member of the
Pangatotara Road Board for the said Sub-district of
Ngatimoti, the Deputy-Superintendent directs it to be
notified that he has, under the provisions of clause 20
of the "Nelson Highways Act, 1872," appointed
JOHN HEATH
a Member of the said Pangatotara Road Board for the
said Sub-district of Ngatimoti.

THE Voters of the District of COLLINGWOOD
having failed, at a meeting duly called for that
purpose on the 6th instant, to elect Three Persons to
fill the vacancies in the Road Board for the District of
Collingwood, the Deputy-Superintendent directs it to
notified that he has appointed the following persons,
under the provisions of clause 20 of "The Nelson
Highways Act, 1872," Members of the Road Board
for the said District of Collingwood, viz.,

IT is hereby notified that it is intended, after the
expiration of two months from the date hereof,
to Grant Leases for gold-mining purposes of the Crown
Lands within the Nelson South-West Goldfields,
hereinafter mentioned, viz.—

BULLER DISTRICT.

  1. A block of land containing sixteen acres and
    two roods, more or less, situated on the
    south side of the Mokihinui river. Applied
    for by Philip Frederick Thiel and others.
  2. A block of land containing sixteen acres and
    two roods, more or less, situated on the
    south side of the Mokihinui river. Applied
    for by J. E. Price and others.
  3. A block of land containing sixteen acres and
    two roods, more or less, situated on the south
    side of the Mokihinui river. Applied for by
    John Gilmer and others.
  4. A block of land containing sixteen acres and
    two roods, more or less, situated on the south
    side of the Mokihinui river, Applied for by
    C. Flannery and others.
