IT is hereby notified that it is intended, after the expiration of two months from the date hereof, to Grant Leases for gold-mining purposes of the Crown Lands within the Nelson South-west Goldfields, hereinafter mentioned, viz.—

LYELL DISTRICT.

  1. A block of land containing five acres and two roods, more or less, situated at Eight-mile Creek. Applied for by David Stuart, Alma Company.

  2. A block of land containing eleven acres three roods and thirty-two perches, more or less, situated at the Alpine Range. Applied for by Charles McCarthy, New North Company.

  3. A block of land containing sixteen acres and two roods, more or less, situated at the Alpine Range. Applied for by John Hayes, Mississippi Company.

INANGAHUA DISTRICT.

  1. No 89R, dated January 1, 1874, to Christian Rasmussen, Golconda Company, of sixteen acres and two roods.

  2. No. 83R, dated January 1, 1874, to Livingstone Johnstone, Universal Company, of ten acres.

  3. No. 77R, dated January 1, 1874, to John Melville, of one acre two roods and twenty-four perches.
