NELSON GOVERNMENT GAZETTE.

Superintendent's Office, Nelson,
October 16, 1873.

IT is hereby notified that it is intended, after the
expiration of two months from the date hereof,
to GRANT Leases for Gold-mining purposes of the
Crown Land within the District of the Nelson South-
west Goldfields, hereinafter described, viz :—

CHARLESTON DISTRICT.

  1. A block of land containing Four acres one
    rood and twenty-four perches, more or less,
    situated at Ballarat Hill. Applied for by
    Samuel Turner and others.

  2. A block of land containing Nine acres two
    roods and seven perches, more or less, situa-
    ted at Candlelight Flat. Applied for by
    Patrick Burns and Philip M'Carthy.

  3. A block of land containing Seven acres one
    rood and thirty-four perches, more or less,
    situated at the Six-mile. Applied for by
    Thomas Geo. Macarthy.

  4. A block of land containing Eight acres two
    roods and fourteen perches, more or less,
    situated at the Six-mile. Applied for by
    John Phalin.

  5. A block of land containing Five acres and
    two roods, more or less, situated at Dayles-
    ford Terrace, Brighton. Applied for by
    Bernard Rogers and others. (No. 133c.)

  6. A block of land containing Three acres and
    two roods, situated at Rochfort's Terrace,
    South of Brighton. Applied for by George
    P. Hides. (No. 134c.)

  7. A block of land containing Eight acres two
    roods and thirty perches, more or less, situa-
    ted at the Six-mile. Applied for by William
    Robertson and others. (No. 142c.)

  8. A block of land containing Four acres and
    twenty-five perches, more or less, situated
    at Kelly's Terrace, Brighton. Applied for
    by Patrick Murphy and others. (No. 146c.)

    less, situated at Half-ounce. Applied for by
    Alexander M'Donald and others. (No. 77c.)

  2. A block of land containing Nine acres three
    roods and thirty perches, more or less,
    situated at Mabillo town, Half-ounce Lead.
    Applied for by Alexander Foldi and others.
    (No. 78c.)

Seperintendent's Office, Nelson,

IT is hereby notified that it is intended, after the
expiration of two months from the date hereof,
to GRANT a Lease for Gold-mining purposes of the
Crown Land within the District of the Nelson South-
west Goldfields, hereinafter described, viz :—

INANGAHUA DISTRICT.

A block of land containing Thirteen acres, more
or less, situated at the Alpine Range, Lyell
Creek. Applied for by the Break O' Day
Company.

IT is hereby notified that the following Gold-mining
Lease is declared CANCELLED, viz :—

Lease dated April 1, 1873, to Francis H. Over-
hagen, of Sixteen acres and two roods,
situated at Mount Rochfort, Buller District.

IT is hereby notified that the following Gold-mining
Lease is declared CANCELLED, viz :—

No. 21R. Lease dated January 1, 1873, to
George Zanetti and others, of Sixteen acres
and two roods, situated at the Lyell.

IN accordance with the provisions of "The Nelson
Waste Lands Act 1863," section 9, notice is
hereby given that the undermentioned block of Crown
Land within the Province of Nelson has been reserved
by the Waste Lands Board as a resting-place for
travelling stock, viz :—
