Motueka; thence by a line due eastward across the
public road and the Motueka River, and along the
southern bank of the said river to the nearest the
north-western angle of Section 215, Motueka; thence
across the public road, and along the western boun-
daries of Sections 215, 245, 244, 243, 242, 241, 240,
239, 238, 237, 236, 235, 234, 232, 231, Motueka, and
along the northern boundary of Section 1, of Block 1,
to the north-west angle of Section 2, of Block 1,
Motueka, and along the north-western boundaries of
the last-named section; thence by a straight line to the
south-eastern angle of Section 51, Motueka, and along
southern boundary of the said section, and the
western boundaries of Section 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, and
47, to the south-western angle of Section 47; thence
by a line to the northwestern angle of Section 82,
Square 3; thence by a line to the eastern angle of
Section 114, Square 2; and along the south-eastern
boundaries of the said section, the north-eastern
boundary of Section 113, the south-eastern boun-
daries of Sections 113, 112, and 111, Square 2, the
south-western boundary of Section 111, and north-
eastern boundaries of Sections 108 and 139; thence
by a line to the eastern angle of Section 10, Thorpe
Suburban; thence along the north-east boundary of
of same, Section 10, and the north-eastern boun-
daries of Sections 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1, Thorpe
Suburban; thence by a division line between Section
83, Square 6, and 1, Thorpe Suburban, to the banks
of the River Dove, and along the banks of
the said river to the nort-west angle of Section
88, Square 6; and along the division line
between Sections 88 and 89; thence by a line to
the southern angle of Section 103, Square 6, and
along its southern boundary, to the banks of the
River Motueka, and along the banks of the said river
to a point opposite the mouth of the river Baton;
thence by a line due west to the watershed; thence
by a straight line to the junction of the Leslie with
the Karamea; thence by a straight line to the south-
western and part of the Takaka Road district; thence
by the southern part of the eastern boundary of
the said Takaka District to the said first mentioned
point on the watershed between Tasman and Golden
Bay.

DISTRICT OF UPPER MOTUEKA.

Commencing at the south-eastern angle of the
Waimen District; thence along the south-western
boundary of the said District, and along the southern
boundary of the Pangatotara District to the south-
western angle; thence by a straight line to the
Saddle between the sources of the rivers Wangapeka
and Karamea; thence by a straight line to the
junction of the Maruia with the Buller; thence by a
straight line to the summit of Mount Franklin and a
prolongation of that line to the western boundary of
the Amuri District; thence along that boundary to
the old Top House; thence by a straight line to the
south-eastern angle of the Waimea District, from
whence this description commences.

Public Seal of the Province of Nelson, this
Thirteenth day of February, in the year of
our Lord One thousand eight hundred and
seventy-one.

    and others, of Three Acres of Land, situated
    at Golden Gully, Collingwood.
  2. Lease dated 1st July, 1870, to WILLIAM
    NORTON and others, of Three Acres and
    Twenty Perches of Land, situated at Bed-
    stead Gully, Collingwood.
  3. Lease dated 1st October, 1870, to JOHN
    ROSS and others, of Nine Acres Three Roods
    and Fifteen Perches of Land, situated at
    Lightband's Gully, Collingwood.
