No. 5. To stop up a road, 75 links wide, in the Waiwero district, colored blue on the plan attached to this application, and described as follows, viz :—
That portion of a road lying between Sections No. 1 of 53 and No. 42, Square 3, being about 13 chains long, commencing at the main road from Motueka to Waiwero; thence proceeding through section No. 42 in a southerly direction for about 20 chains; thence through the north-east corner of Sections No. 43 in a general south-east direction for about 5 chains to the boundary of Section 2 of 53; thence through that section for about 29 chains in a south-easterly direction; thence through the north-east corner of Section No. 44 in a southerly direction, to a point about 12 chains from its southern angle; thence in an easterly direction through Section No 1 of 55, through which right of road is reserved.
And to substitute in the place thereof a certain other road 75 links in width, colored pink on the plan attached to this application, and described as follows, viz :—
That portion of a road commencing at the main line of road between Motueka and Wai-wero, at the northern angle of section No. 42; thence in a south-easterly direction partly across a road formerly stopped up, and partly into Section No. 1 of 53 for a distance of about 13 chains: thence in a southerly direction through the same section, and crossing the said stopped-up road, about 3 chains; thence in a southerly and south-easterly direction for about 14½ chains through Section No. 42; thence in same direction crossing said stopped-up road for about 4 chains; thence in an easterly direction, through Section No. 2 of 53, through which right of road is reserved; thence across public road, and through Crown Land beyond.
