ALTERATION OF ROADS.

THE undersigned hereby give notice that they intend to apply to two or more Justices of the Peace, at a sitting to be held on Tuesday, 22nd day of November, 1870, at the Courthouse, Nelson, for stopping up, diverting, and opening the undermentioned roads; and further, that they will cause survey plans of the several roads proposed to be stopped up, substituted, or opened, together with books of reference and estimates; to be deposited with the Clerk to the Magistrates at Nelson, and with Mr. Henry Bensemann, Constable for the District of Upper Moutere.

No. 1. To open a new road, 40 feet wide, in the Upper Moutere district, colored pink on the plan attached to this application, and described as follows, viz.:β€”

That portion of a road crossing Sections Nos. 121, 123, and 125, Square 3, commencing at the south-west corner of Section No. 121, and proceeding in a general northerly direction through that section and through Section No. 123; also, through the north-west corner of Section No. 125, terminating at a point on its north-west boundary line, about three-quarter chain from the dividing line between Sections No. 125 and 123.
