No. 9. To stop up part of a road in the Maitai Valley, colored blue on the plan attached to this application, and described as follows, viz.:—
That portion of a road lying partly in Section No. 14, and partly between No. 14 and No. 53, commencing near the junction of Bartlett's Valley with the Maitai, and running in a northwest direction for about 47 chains.
And to substitute in place thereof a certain other road, 40 feet wide, colored pink on the plan attached to this application, and described as follows, viz.:—
That portion of a road, commencing at a point about 3 chains to the eastward of the commencing point above mentioned, and running for about 10 chains in a northerly direction, proceeding thence in an easterly direction for about 40 chains to about the south-east corner of Section No. 14, to meet the new line of road set out through Section No. 32.
To stop up part of a road in Beckman's Valley, colored blue in the plan attached to this application, and described as follows, viz.:—

No. 10. To open a road in the Aorere District, 1 chain wide, colored pink on the plan attached to this application, and described as follows, viz.:—
That portion of a road proceeding from the public road, lying between Sections No. 21 and 22 on the one side, and 23 and 24 on the other side, Square 15, commencing where the said public road strikes the River Aorere, and following the bank downwards for the full length of Section No. 23; the general direction being eastward, and the length about 35 chains, viz.:—About 1½ chains through Native Reserve G; about 7½ chains through Section No. 23; about 11 chains through Native Reserve E; and the remainder through Section No. 23.

And to substitute in the place thereof a certain other road, 40 feet wide, colored pink in the plan attached to this application, and described as follows, viz.:—
That portion of a road, lying partly in Section No. 39, and partly in Section No. 40, commencing at a point on the southern boundary line of Section No. 39, about 2 chains from the south-west corner, and running through Sections 39 and 40 for about 25 chains, to a point on the northern boundary line of Section No. 40, about 5 chains from the eastern corner.
