In the matter of "The Bankruptcy Act, 1867," and in the matter of WILLIAM FERRIS, of the Province of Nelson, in New Zealand, Storekeeper.
NOTICE is hereby given, that by a Deed, bearing date the 12th day of February instant, made between the said WILLIAM FERRIS, of the first part, and JAMES POWELL and WILLIAM JOHN PATTERSON, both of Westport, aforesaid, Merchants, of the second part, and the several other Creditors of the said WILLIAM FERRIS, of the third part: The said WILLIAM FERRIS conveyed and assigned all and singular the real and personal estate therein described unto the said JAMES POWELL and WILLIAM JOHN PATTERSON, their heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, upon certain trusts, for the benefit of all the Creditors of the said WILLIAM FERRIS: And notice is hereby further given, that the said Deed was duly executed by the said WILLIAM FERRIS, on the 12th day of February instant, in presence of, and the same is attested by, HARRY PITT, of Westport, a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, and that the same Deed was, this day, filed in this Court, and the same may forthwith be executed by all Creditors of the said WILLIAM FERRIS.

In the matter of "The Bankruptcy Act, 1867."
NOTICE is hereby given, that ROBERT ALCORN, WILLIAM M'FARLAND and JAMES M'FARLAND, all of Westport, in the Province of Nelson, and Colony of New Zealand, storekeepers trading in co-partnership under the style or firm of "ALCORN and Co," have this day filed in the above Court, a declaration of their insolvency.

In the matter of "The Bankruptcy Act, 1867," and in the matter of SAMUEL SAMPER, of Westport, in the Province of Nelson, and Colony of New Zealand, Bankrupt.
NOTICE is hereby given, that at the first meeting of Creditors in this estate, held on the 10th day of February instant, at the Court-House, Westport, a resolution was passed by a majority in number, representing three-fourths in value, of the Creditors present or represented thereat, accepting a proposal then made, by the above-named Bankrupt, for taking the said estate out of Bankruptcy: And further, that the said meeting was adjourned until Ten of the clock, on Tuesday, the 25th day of February, now next ensuing.
