TAKAKA DISTRICT.

To open up a certain road in the district of the Takaka, commencing from a point marked by the letter A on the West Takaka Road, in Section numbered 122 on the plan of the district of the Takaka, and running in an easterly direction for a distance of about thirteen chains, to the banks of the River Takaka; thence across the said river, and continuing in a north-easterly direction, through Sections numbered respectively parts 2 and 1 of Section numbered 30 and Section numbered 29 on the said plan, for a distance of about forty-four chains, and terminating at the point marked B in Section numbered 29 on the cross-road between the East and West Takaka Roads. The said road proposed to be opened is of the average width of seventy-five links, and the lengths and directions are more particularly shown on the plan attached to this application, and thereon colored pink.
