All Notifications which appear in this Gazette, with any Official Signature hereunto annexed, are to be considered as Official Communications made to those Persons to whom they may relate, and are to be obeyed accordingly.

THE SUPERINTENDENT directs it to be notified that on and after the first day of January, 1868, the DISTRICT OF AMURI shall be, for the purposes of "THE NELSON SCAB ACT," all the land comprised within the following boundaries, viz.:β€”

By the southern banks of the River Hope, from Lake Marion to its junction with the River Dillon, thence by the southern banks of the River Dillon to a point on its banks opposite to the line of division between the runs held by Messrs. Fowler and Atkinson, thence across the River Dillon, thence along the division line between Messrs. Fowler and Atkinson's runs, thence by the northern boundaries of the runs held by Mr. Atkinson and Count de la Pasture, thence by the westward and southward boundaries of the runs held by the Messrs. Carter, to the eastern boundary of the run held by Mr. Thomas Carter, thence by the line dividing the said run held by Mr. Thomas Carter from the run held by Messrs. C. R. and G. Ruck Keene to the boundary of this province, thence by the boundary of the province to the sea, thence by the sea to the mouth of the Hurunui, thence by the northern bank of the Hurunui to the western end of Lake Sumner, and thence by a line to Lake Marion.

Nelson, 14th Nov., 1867.

WE, the undersigned, JOHN BLACKETT, Provincial Engineer, and THOMAS BRUNNER, Chief Surveyor, both of the City of Nelson, in the Province of Nelson, hereby give notice that we intend to APPLY to two or more Justices of the Peace, having jurisdiction in the said Province, at a meeting to be held on MONDAY, the 6th day January, 1868, at the Court House, Nelson, for an ORDER for STOPPING UP, DIVERTING, and OPENING, the undermentioned ROADS; and further, that we will cause survey plans of the several roads proposed to be stopped up, diverted, and opened, together with the books of reference and estimates, to be deposited with the Clerk to the Magistrates at Nelson; and with the Constables of the respective districts, in or nearest to which the said roads are respectively situated; namely, with Mr. Alexander Wragg, of Suburban North, for the District of Suburban North; with Mr. Charles Knapp, of Spring Grove, for the District of Waimea South; with Mr. George Flower, of Motueka Valley, for the District
