HIS Honor the Superintendent
directs it to be notified that the undermentioned persons have been appointed
TRUSTEES of the PUBLIC CEMETERY
at WAIMEA SOUTH, under the provisions of
the "Public Cemeteries Act," Session VI.,
No. 7, viz.:β

ALTERATION OF ROADS.
Survey Office,
June 18, 1863.
THE undersigned hereby give notice, that
they intend to APPLY to two or more Justices of the Peace, at a sitting to be held on TUESDAY, the 18th day of August, 1863, at the Court
House, Nelson, for an order for STOPPING UP,
DIVERTING, and MAKING the undermentioned
ROADS; and further, that they will cause survey
plans of the several roads proposed to be stopped up,
substituted, and made, together with books of reference
and estimates, to be deposited on or before the 30th
day of June, 1863, with the Clerk to the Magistrates,
Nelson, and with Mr. GEORGE TAYLOR, Constable
for the District of Takaka.
- To stop up parts of a road in the Takaka District, passing in a straight line through section
No. 163; commencing at the line of division
between that section and sections No. 160 and
161, and terminating at the line of road which
divides it from No. 26.
And to substitute in the place thereof a certain
other road in the said district, 75 links in width;
commencing and terminating at or about the
same points as above mentioned, but pursuing a
different course between these points, as delineated on the accompanying plan, viz., about 35
chains running in a south-westerly direction,
thence about 6 chains in a south-easterly direction, and from thence about 3 chains in a south-
west direction, to the line of road dividing sections Nos. 163 and 26.
- To make a new road, 75 links in width, commencing at the termination of the last named
road, on the road line dividing sections Nos. 163
and 26, passing through No. 26 in a south-
