corner of Section No. 124, Sandy Bay, and
thence to the north-point of Torrent Basin,
where the northern boundary commences.

MOTUPIPI DISTRICT.
Bounded on the north by a line along high
water-mark from the end of the road through
Section No. 77 to the north-east corner of
Section No. 151; on the east thence by a line to
the south-east corner of Section No. 153, and
thence to the Takaka river at the south-east
corner of Section No. 184; on the south
thence by a line due west for two miles; and
thence by the west thence by a line due north for
nine-and-a-half miles to a road at the south-
west corner of Section No. 74, and thence by
the said road to where the northern boundary
commences.

WAIRAU DISTRICT.
Bounded northwards by the Wairau river
from the confluence of the branch river to the
sea; thence eastwards by the sea-coast to the
southern extremity of the Boulder Bank;
thence southwards by a straight line from the
last-mentioned point to the south-west corner
of Section No. 9, Block II., Waihopai; and
thence westwards by a straight line from the
last-named point to the aforesaid confluence of
the Branch and Wairau rivers.

AWATERE DISTRICT.
Bounded northwards by the southern
boundary of the Wairau district; thence
eastwards by the sea from the southern ex-
tremity of the Boulder-bank to the mouth of
the Flags river; thence southwards and west-
wards by a straight line from the last-named
place to the south-west corner of Section No.
9, Block II., Waihopai.

Given under my hand, and issued under
the public seal of the Province, at
Nelson, this Ninth day of April, in
the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and fifty-six.

to be notified, that he has appointed
WEDNESDAY, the 30th day of April, 1856, at
12 o\'clock at noon, for the Meeting of Voters
of the several districts constituted under the
authority of the Country Roads Act, 1856, for
the purpose of determining what rate shall be
levied within such districts for the ensuing
year, and of electing District Boards to carry
into effect the provisions of that Act; and that
such meetings shall be held at the following
places, viz :β€”

For the District of Suburban North, at the
Black Horse, Wakapuaka.
For the District of Waimea East, at the
School-house, Richmond.
For the District of Waimea South, at the
School-house, Spring Grove.
For the District of Waimea West, at the
School-house, Waimea Village.
For the District of Moutere, at the House of
Mr. Hewetson.
For the District of Motueka, at the School-
house, Motueka.
For the District of Riwaka, at the School-
house, Riwaka.
For the District of Motupipi, at the House
of Mr. J. P. Robinson, Motupipi.
For the District of Wairau, at the House of
Mr. J. Godfrey, known as the Wairau
Hotel.
For the District of Awatere, at the House
of Mr. G. M\'Rae, Blairich, Awatere.

be notified, that he has appointed
TUESDAY, the 29th day of April, 1856, at 12
o\'clock at noon, for the Meeting of the Voters
under the Nelson Improvement Act, 1856;
and that such meeting shall be holden at the
Court House, Nelson, for the purpose of deter-
mining what rate (if any) shall be levied within
the said town for the ensuing year, and of
electing a Board of nine persons to carry into
effect the provisions of that Act.
