which Bills were reserved for the signification of the Governor’s pleasure thereon, having been laid before the Governor, His Excellency has been pleased to assent to the same.

Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Marlborough, New Zealand.
IN accordance with the provisions of the Education Act, Session III., No. 1, I hereby notify that I have appointed TUESDAY, the 19th day of January next, at Eleven o’clock in the forenoon, for the Nomination and Election of the Members of the Education Board.
Each District will elect a member, who must be a householder, residing in the District.

Picton ... The Court House.
Blenheim ... The School House.
Renwick ... The School House.
Wairau Valley ... The School House.
Spring Creek ... The School House.
The Education Board will meet at Renwicktown, at the School House, at 12 o’clock at noon, on THURSDAY, 28th inst.

28th December, 1863.
WHEREAS a notification, published in the Provincial Government Gazette, dated the Eleventh day of March, 1863, was given of a decision in favour of William White and William Ricketts on their application for a run in the District of Waihopai, bounded on the North by the Southern boundary of Messrs. Myers and Wemyss’ runs; on the East by the dividing range between the Waihopai and Awatere rivers; on the West by runs held by Messrs. Robinson and Renwick; on the south by the boundary line of the province:
And whereas the said William White and William Ricketts, not having deposited at this office any certificate or plan of the same within nine months from the date of the said decision, in accordance with the Land Regulations now in force in this province, I do hereby declare the said run to be open to be applied for by any other person.
