NOW ALL MEN by these presents
that I Kenneth McIntosh of Kaiapoi
in the Province of Canterbury in New
Zealand farmer being seized in fee simple
of that part of Rural Section numbered
860 on the map of the Chief Surveyor of
the said Province of Canterbury setting out
the Rural Lands in the Mandeville District
commencing at the south-western corner of
the said Section running thence northerly
along the western boundary of the said
Section a distance of fifty links and thence
easterly in a rectangular block a distance of
thirty chains to the eastern boundary of the
said Section being bounded on the south by
the southern boundary of the said Section
and delineated and coloured pink in the
plan drawn in the margin hereof In consideration
of the sum of Sixteen Pounds
Ten Shillings to me paid (the receipt
whereof I do hereby admit and acknowledge)
do hereby dedicate the said Land to the
Public to the intent that the same may for
ever hereafter be used as a Public Highway
to all intents and purposes whatsoever.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set
my hand and seal this fifth day of October
one thousand eight hundred and seventy-
five.

HIS Honor the Superintendent, in
pursuance of certain powers vested in
him by "The Empowering Ordinance, Session
II, No. 2," directs it to be notified that
the Footpaths hereinafter described having
been well and sufficiently made and
completed for the use and accommodation of
foot passengers, according to the provisions
of "The Footpaths’ Ordinance, Session VIII.,
No. 12," are hereby declared to be public
footpaths, and from and after the date hereof
shall be deemed and taken accordingly to be
public footpaths within the meaning of the
said Ordinance.
The said footpaths are as follows:—
Spreydon District.
On both sides of Harper Street, from the
South Town Belt to the Pound Road.
On both sides of Durham Street South,
from South Town Belt to the Pound
Road.
On both sides of First Street, from
Harper Street to Colombo Street South.
On both sides of Second Street, from Harper
Street to Colombo Street South.
On both sides of Third Street, from Harper
Street to Colombo Street South.
On both sides of Fourth Street, from Durham
Street to Colombo Street South.
On both sides of Fifth Street, from Durham
Street to Colombo Street South.
On both sides of Sixth Street, from Durham
Street to Colombo Street South.
On the West side of Selwyn Street, from
the South Town Belt to Hamilton Street.
On both sides of Park Road, from the
South Town Belt round the Church
Reserve to the Creek, thence along both
sides of Ward Street into Selwyn Street.
On both sides of Harman Street, from
Selwyn Street to the Lower Lincoln Road.
