PURSUANT to memorandum of Transfer
No. 1351 from James Hewitt, the Su-
perintendent of the Province of Canterbury
is now seized of an estate in fee simple,
subject nevertheless to such encumbrances
liens and interests as are notified by memorial
under written or endorsed hereon, in that
piece of land situated in the District of
Christchurch, containing two roods and
twenty perches or thereabouts; bounded on
the north-west and south-east by the north-
western and south-eastern boundaries of the
undermentioned section respectively, fifty
links, and forming a rectangular block with
the south-east corner twenty-nine chains
thirty-one links from the south-east corner
of the section as colored green in the plan
hereon, which said piece of land is part of
the rural section marked 52 delineated in
the public map of the said District deposited
in the office of the Chief Surveyor originally
conveyed the eighth day of April, 1853,
under the seal of the Canterbury Associa-
tion and hands of two of its attorneys to
John Toft Wingfield.

following Reserves temporarily under the
19th clause of the Waste Lands Regula-
tions, viz.:β
No. 1782 (in red). Two hundred and forty-
seven acres, more or less, situate in
the Ashburton District; bounded on
the south-eastward by the South
Road and Railway Reserve, on the
southwestward by Section 20826, on
the north-eastward by Section 20827,
and on the north-westward by a line
drawn parallel to the south-eastern
boundary, and 15 chains distant there-
from. Save and except Reserve 1445
(in red), which is included within the
above described boundaries, subject
to roads. For Provincial Government
purposes.
No. 1818 (in red). Ten acres, more or less,
situate in the Malvern District;
bounded on the northward by the
Hororata and Hawkins road, on the
north-westward by section 12630, on
the south-westward by the road form-
ing the south-western boundary of
that section, and on the south-east-
ward by a line parallel to the south-
western boundary, so as to contain
the above quantity. For Gravel
Pit.
No. 1819 (in red) Two acres and thirty-nine
perches, more or less, being sections
Nos. 187, 189, 191, 193, 194, 195,
196, 197, and 198, situate in the Town
of Arowhenua. For a School Site.
No. 1820 (in red) Forty acres, more or less,
situate in the Malvern District;
having frontage to the road forming
the eastern boundary of Section 19539
and extending westerly 40 chains on
the average therefrom. The southern
boundary of this Reserve is situate
10 chains north of and parallel to
the northern boundary of the above-
mentioned section. For Cemetery.
No. 1821 (in red). One hundred and four
acres, more or less, situate in the
Timaru District; bounded on the
north-eastward by the road forming
the north-east boundary of section
17497, on the north-westward by that
section, on the south-westward by a
straight line drawn from the south-
east corner of said section to the
north-west corner of section 17559,
and on the south-eastward by the last
mentioned section. For Provincial
Government purposes.
No. 1822 (in red). Ten acres, more or less,
situate in the Ashburton District;
bounded on the north-westward by
a line in continuation of the north-
west boundary of I.P.R. on Run
No. 44, on the north-eastward by the
I.P.R. on the south-eastward by
I.P.R. on Run No. 44, and on the
south-westward by the road forming
the south-west boundary of Section
15993. For Gravel Pit.
No. 1823 (in red). Five acres, more or less,
situate in the Ashburton District;
bounded on the north-westward by
the road passing through section 9506,
on the south-westward by that sec-
tion, on the south-eastward by a line
in continuation of the south-east
boundary of the same section; and
