- This delegation of powers to the Board shall not in any way affect any lease or contract now in force between the Superintendent and any person or persons in respect of any portion of the lands named in the Schedule to the Canterbury Public Domains Act, 1872, nor any agreement between the Superintendent and any person or persons in respect of the dedication of any portion of the said lands to any purpose of public recreation or amusement.

HIS Honor the Superintendent, in pursuance of certain powers vested in him by \"The Empowering Ordinance, Session II, No. 2,\" directs it to be notified that the footpath hereinafter described, having been well and sufficiently made and completed for the use and accommodation of foot passengers, according to the provisions of \"The Footpaths Ordinance, Session VIII, No. 12,\" is hereby declared to be a public footpath, and from and after the date hereof shall be deemed and taken accordingly to be public footpath within the meaning of the said Ordinance.
The said footpath is as follows:
On the eastern side of the Lincoln Road from the Town Belt to the Heathcote Bridge.
