This delegation of powers to the Board shall not in any way affect any lease or contract now in force between the Superintendent and any person or persons in respect of any portion of the lands named in the Schedule to the Canterbury Public Domains Act, 1872, nor any agreement between the Superintendent and any person or persons in respect of the dedication of any portion of the said lands to any purpose of public recreation or amusement.
