and southern boundaries of that reserve to the road forming the eastern boundary of section 10173; thence southerly following the western side of that road and a continuation of the same to the south-west side of the road passing through section 2134; thence south-easterly following that road to section 4766; thence southerly following the western boundary of section 4766 and a line in continuation thereof to the bank of the Waimakariri, next to and south of trigonometrical station M. 10; thence westerly following the said bank to the road first mentioned; and from thence returning along the same to the commencing point, subject to roads.—Reserve in connection with overflow of river Eyre.
No. 1548, (in red).—One hundred acres, situate in the Mandeville district, bounded on the northward by the Eyre Road south; on the eastward by the Waimakariri No. 10 Road; on the westward by a line parallel and to forty chains distant from the eastern boundary; and on the southward by a line at right angles to the Waimakariri No. 10 Road, so as to contain the above quantity (save and except Reserve No. 1026 (in red), and subject to roads if required on survey.—Reserve in connection with overflow of river Eyre.
No. 1600 (in red).—Three hundred and seven acres, situate in the Malvern district, bounded on the northward by the road forming the southern boundary of sections 328a, 4115, and 5513; on the eastward by section 10058; on the southward by reserve No. 1332 (in red); and on the westward by section 14988, save and except Reserve No. 1557 (in red), which is included within the above boundaries.—For drainage purposes.
No. 1601 (in red).—Seven acres, situate in the Malvern district, being a strip of land one chain wide, commencing at the north-western corner of rural section 16639, and extending northerly to the south-eastern boundary of section 16639, being bounded on the westward by the road forming the eastern boundary of section 12778.—For road and tramway purposes.
No. 1647 (in red).—Ten acres, situate in the town of Waimate having 10 chains frontage to the south-eastern side of Queen street, and extending south-easterly 10 chains in a rectangular block; the north-west corner of the above described land is situate at the angle of the street about 17 chains south-west of the westernmost corner of Reserve No. 1582 (in red).—For a Recreation Ground.
No. 1648 (in red).—Ten acres, situate in the town of Waimate, having 10 chains frontage to the south-eastern side of Queen street, and extending south-easterly 10 chains in a rectangular block south-west of and adjoining Reserve 1647 (in red).—For a gravel pit.
No. 1650, (in red).—All that tract of land three quarters of a mile wide, situate in the Ashburton and Timaru districts, west of and adjoining Reserve No. 381 (in red), extending northerly from the northern bank of the river Orari to a point on the western boundary of the aforesaid Reserve, bearing from trig. station No. 65a, N. 29deg. 30min. E. (mag.), and distant therefrom about 3 miles 25 chains.—For a line of railway.
