PROCLAMATION.
WILLIAM ROLLESTON, Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury, in pursuance of the powers vested in me by "The Dog Nuisance Ordinance, Session XVII., No. 3," do hereby appoint
CHARLES W. GREENWOOD
to be a person duly authorised to register dogs.
Given under my hand, at Christchurch, this twentieth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-three.

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has made the following Reserves, temporarily, under the 19th Clause of the Waste Lands Regulations, viz:—
No. 1555, in red.—Five acres (more or less), situate in the Malvern district, having five chains frontage to the road forming the south-west boundary of R.S. 14989, and extending back north-easterly ten chains in a rectangular block; the south-west corner of this reserve is to be about fifteen chains south-east of the south-east corner of R.S. 14989; the position of reserve is intended to be on the first rise in the ground east of the aforesaid section.—For a gravel pit.
No. 1556, in red.—Five acres (more or less), situate in the Malvern district, bounded on the south-east by the road forming the north-west boundary of R.S. 15620, and on the south-west by the road forming the north-east boundary of R.S. 2520; on the north-east by a line at right angles to south-east boundary, and ten chains distant on the average from the south-west boundary; and on the north-west by a line parallel to south-east boundary, to include the required quantity within I.P.R.Q., on run No. 41.—For a gravel pit.
No. 1557, in red.—Five acres (more or less), situate in the Malvern district, bounded on the northward by the road forming the southern boundary of R.S. 3284; on the westward by R.S. 14988; on the southward by a line parallel to the northern boundary and ten chains distant therefrom; and on the eastward by a line at right angles to northern boundary, to include the required quantity.—For a gravel pit.
No. 1558, in red.—Five acres (more or less), situate in the Malvern district, having five chains frontage to the road forming the south-east boundary of R.S. 16097, and extending back south-easterly ten chains in a rectangular block; the northernmost corner of this reserve is situate about sixteen chains south of the southernmost corner of R.S. 16085.—For a gravel pit.
No. 1559, in red.—Five acres (more or less), situate in the Malvern district, having five chains frontage to the road forming the eastern boundary of R.S. 15139, and extending westerly ten chains in a rectangular block north of and adjoining R.S. 15139.
No. 1560, in red.—Five acres (more or less), situate in the Malvern district, having five chains frontage to the road forming the eastern boundary of R.S. 14397, and extending westerly ten chains in a rectangular block; the north-east corner of this reserve is situate about seven chains south of the intersection of said road by south-east boundary of R.S. 3922.—For a gravel pit.
No. 1561, in red.—Fifty acres (more or less), situate in the Timaru district, being a rectangular block of land from 10 to 12 chains wide, along the top of the spur S.E. from rural section 3275 and 7865.—For recreation ground.
No. 1562, in red.—Two hundred acres (more or less), situate near Little River, bounded on the north-eastward by R.S. 6646; on the eastward by a line at right angles to the road leading to Taramakau so as to meet the southernmost corner of R.S. 6646; on the southward by that road; on the north-westward by the continuation of the road forming the N.W. boundary of R.S. 6646; and on the westward by a line at right angles.
