North Kowai District.
Commencing at the junction of the road running between sections 6573, and 8972 with the Railway reserve, thence northerly along such reserve to its junction with the road running between sections 3889 and 4340, thence westerly along such road to the south-western corner of section 7648, thence in a straight line to the north-western corner of section 7875, thence north-easterly and south-easterly along the road to the north of this latter section to its junction with the Railway reserve on the eastern corner of section 5805, thence northerly along the Railway reserve to the road running to the north of section 9528, thence easterly along such road to its junction with the North road, close to the latter section; thence northerly along the north road to its junction with the road running between sections 10775 and 10943, thence easterly along such road to the River Waipara, thence southerly along such river to the sea, thence southerly along the sea beach to the northern boundary of the Leithfield district, thence westerly along such boundary to the starting point.
Pigeon Bay District.
Bounded by a line drawn from the east head of Pigeon Bay southward along the ridge of the hills to the ridge round Akaroa Harbour; following the latter ridge westward to the junction of the Pigeon Bay and Purau lines of road; following the said Purau road till it meets the ridge separating Holmes' Gully from Port Levy; following the latter ridge northward to the west head of Pigeon Bay.
Pleasant Point District.
Bounded on the northward by the River Opihi; on the eastward by the Eastern boundary lines of sections 11580, 10129, 10130, 11234, 12912, 12916, the southern boundary of the latter section to the road, on the east side of section 14017; thence by that road and the road forming the north-east boundary of section 13680 to the road on the south-east side of the same section; on the southward by the latter road, and also by a straight line drawn from the southernmost corner of section 8548 to the junction of the road forming the south-eastern boundary of section 11122, with the road on the north-east side of section 12796; on the westward by the latter road to its junction with the road on the north-west side of section 13553; thence by a straight line to the westernmost corner of section 5402; thence by a straight line to the south-east corner of section 5428; thence by the road on the eastern side of sections 5428 and 10735, and a line in continuation of the latter boundary to the River Opihi.
Prebbleton District.
Bounded on the east by the western boundary of the Halswell District and the old river bed; on the south by the Halswell road by Ladbrooke's as far as its junction with the Springs road; on the west by a line following the latter road northerly to the south-eastern corner of section 2595; thence north-westerly along the southern boundary of this section to the eastern boundary of section 2852; thence north-easterly along such boundary, and westerly along the northern boundary of this section, and north-easterly along the road to the west of the same section, and westerly along the southern boundary of section 3732, and north-easterly along the north-western boundaries of sections 3732, 6437, 2734, 2704, 3729, 2837, 2586, 2628, 2636, 2783, 2678, and 2557; thence in a straight line drawn from the northern corner of the last mentioned section to the northern corner of section 2652, and by the southern and eastern boundaries of section 1948 to the south road; and thence by the south road to the old river bed above mentioned.
Saltwater Creek District.
Bounded on the eastward by the sea; on the south by the northern bank of the River Ashley; on the west by the eastern boundary of the Ashley Bank District, as far as the Upper Sefton road; thence following the said road north-easterly to the road and railway reserve; thence following said reserve northerly to the Rangiora and Leithfield road; thence following the said road as far as the north-east corner of reserve 253, from thence following the southern boundary of the Leithfield District to the sea.
Selwyn District.
Commencing at the point where the Railway reserve crosses the River Selwyn; thence south-westerly along such reserve to its junction with the Tramway reserve; southerly along the Tramway reserve to its junction with the road between sections 9513 and 10123; and thence south-westerly along this road to the south-western corner of reserve 1168; thence in a straight line to the southernmost corner of section 9281; thence in a straight line to the southernmost corner of section 12522; thence
