EYRETON DISTRICT.

Commencing at the junction of the
Oxford Tramroad with the north
branch of the Waimakariri river;
thence westerly along the said road
to its intersection with the road
to the south-east of section 8216;
thence south-westerly along the latter
road to the Cust road; thence south-
easterly along the latter road to the
south-east corner of section 11500;
thence in a straight line to the north-
western corner of section 6159;
thence southerly by the Waimakariri
No. 10 road to the River Eyre;
thence westerly along that river to a
point in line with the eastern
boundary of section 4431; thence
southerly following a straight line to
the north-east corner of the latter
section; thence southerly following
the eastern boundary of the same,
and a line in continuation thereof to
the north bank of the Waimakariri
river; thence returning easterly along
that bank and along that of the north
branch before-mentioned to the
starting point.

RANGIORA RIVERSIDE DISTRICT.

Bounded on the north by the River
Ashley; on the east by the road
forming the eastern boundary of
sections 1539 and 5910, to include
the frontages on both sides the said
road; on the south by the main drain,
continuing westerly along the road
in continuation of the said main drain
to its junction with the Rangiora and
Oxford road; thence following the
latter road to the road forming the
western boundary of section 8811;
thence northerly along such road to
the River Cust; thence easterly
along this river to the road to the
east of section 2091; thence northerly
along such road to the south-eastern
corner of the last named section;
thence westerly along the southern
boundary of the same section,
northerly along its western boundary,
westerly along the southern boundary
of section 3195, and northerly along
the western boundary of the latter
section and of section 3245, and a
straight line in continuation thereof
due north to the River Ashley.

LAXTON DISTRICT.

Commencing at the point where the
northern boundary of the Eyreton
District touches the right bank
of the River Waimakariri, (such
point being the south-eastern corner
of section 3768,) thence following
north-easterly along that bank to
Boys’ Rangiora Direct Road; thence
north-westerly along that road to the
north-western boundary of section
4295; thence along that boundary
round the eastern boundary of section
8194; thence along the eastern and
north-eastern boundaries of section
10,090, and along the north-eastern
boundary of section 10,089, to the
road to the east of sections 4146
and 2229; thence following north-
easterly along that road to the River
Cam, following that river north-
westerly to Young’s road; thence
westerly along this latter road to its
junction with the Boys’ Rangiora
direct road, following south-easterly
along this latter road to its junction
with the Ashley and Kaiapoi road;
thence north-westerly along this
latter road to the north-east corner
of section 1579; thence southerly
along the eastern boundary of this
latter section, and westerly along its
southern boundary, and northerly
along the road on its western boundary to its junction with the road on
the north of section 6610, thence
westerly along this latter road, and
southerly along the same to the north-
east corner of section 6592, thence
westerly along the northern boundary
of that section to the road forming
the western boundary thereof, following that road southerly to the
Rangiora Main Drain, thence south-
westerly along the road between
sections 4102 and 4101 to the Oxford
and Ohoka road, and south-easterly
along the latter road to the north-
west corner of section 2685, thence
southerly along the western boundaries of this section and of sections
6450, 6195, and 3591, and easterly
along the southern boundary of the
latter section to the road to the east
of the said section; thence south-
westerly along this road to its junction with the Oxford Tramroad, and
thence south-easterly along the latter
road to the starting point.

GEBBIE’S VALLEY DISTRICT.

Commencing at Mount Herbert; thence
westerly following along the ridge of
hills by McQueen’s Pass to
Gebbie’s Pass; thence in a
straight line to the junction of
the Ahuriri Bush Road North with
the Ahuriri Bush Road South; thence
southerly along the latter road and
along the north-western boundary of
section 1879 and a line in continuation thereof to Lake Ellesmere;
thence along the shores of the Lake
to a point opposite the spur at Sally’s
Bay at the south-west corner of
section 2888; thence in a straight line
to Archie’s Peak, and thence in a
straight line to Mount Herbert.
