Island, Province of Canterbury, now owned by you, from section 850, Kaiapoi Island, Province of Canterbury, owned by me, commencing at the junction of section 479, and running to the junction of section 820; the length being 2360 links; and that I require such fence to be of the description numbered 7 (ditch and bank and three wires) in Schedule B to “The Trespass of Cattle Ordinance,” Session XIV., No. 1.
I further give you notice that in the event of your neglect or refusal to comply with the terms of this notice, I shall, at the expiration thereof, proceed to the making of the said fence in the terms of “The Fencing Ordinance, 1866,” and seek to recover from you a moiety of the cost thereof.

THE following Schedule of Reserves in the Province of Canterbury, made in pursuance of awards of the Native Land Court, in fulfillment of an engagement entered into by Government with certain Natives, parties to the Deed of Purchase known as the Ngaitahu Deed, and referred to the said Court for investigation, is published for general information.

RESERVE FOR NATIVE PURPOSES.
A.
Seventy-two acres, more or less, situate in the Christchurch District, at the mouth of the Waimakariri, bounded on the northward by section 10184; on the eastward by the reserve along high-water mark; on the southward by the road forming the northern boundary of section 10185; and on the westward by the road on the eastern side of section 10183.
For Native Purposes.
A.
All that piece or parcel of land situate in the Ellesmere District, containing by admeasurement 63 acres, more or less, bounded by a public reserve No. 806; on the east by the shores of Lake Ellesmere; on the south by the Native reserve; and on the west by a public road.

Four acres one rood, more or less, situate at Little River, bounded on the south-west by a line in continuation of the south-west boundary of section 9091; on the north-west by the road forming the south-eastern boundary of the section; on the south-east by the road and railway reserve; and on the north-east by a line running parallel to and one chain north-east of the continuation of the north-eastern boundary of section 5884.
