In the matter of John Edward Darby of Christchurch in the said District, Hotel Keeper, a debtor.
NOTICE is hereby given that by an order of this Honorable Court made in this matter on the Twelfth day of November instant the hearing of the petition of the above named debtor was adjourned to Friday the Fourteenth day of December next at eleven o’clock in the forenoon at the Court House Christchurch.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
Hokitika, November 3, 1866.
WE, THOMAS HARRIS, SAMUEL HARRIS, and THOMAS R. MACKENZIE, trading under the firm of “Harris Brothers & Co.,” as Cattle Dealers to the West Coast, have this day, by mutual consent, dissolved partnership, and all outstanding debts or otherwise due to said firm will be collected by and paid to Thomas Harris, and his receipt for same shall be sufficient.

In the matter of the Estate of Duncan McLennan, late of the Standard Hotel, Christchurch, in the Province of Canterbury, in the Colony of New Zealand, Hotel Keeper, a debtor; and
In the matter of the petition of the said debtor.
IN CHAMBERS:
Tuesday this 20th day of November 1866.
UPON the application of Dr. Foster of Counsel for the said debtor and after reading the said petition presented this day purporting to be signed by the said debtor and to be concurred in by D. W. Christie of Christchurch in the Province of Canterbury in the Colony of New Zealand, baker David Nairn of the same place, Commission Agent James Reid of the same place, Carriage Builder James Long Hemming of the same place, Builder, creditors of the said debtor to the extent of not less than fifty pounds in the whole and also certain schedules and an affidavit of the said debtor to the said petition annexed and therewith filed this day pursuant to the said Acts. This Court being satisfied of the truth of the matters contained in the said petition doth hereby grant an ad interim order of sequestration of the estate and effects of the said debtor and doth direct that the said estate and effects of the said debtor shall be taken and held by James Edwin Graham of Christchurch aforesaid, Inspector in bankruptcy as Receiver under the said Acts, hereby appointed by the Court, subject to such further order of the Court as may be made under or in pursuance of the provisions of the said Acts. And this Court doth hereby appoint Friday the Fourteenth day of December next at eleven o’clock in the forenoon for the hearing of the said Petition and the proofs of debts and claims of creditors aforesaid. And this order is hereby declared to be a vesting order pursuant to section 8 of the “Debtors and Creditors Act Amendment Act 1865.”
