PUBLIC NOTICE.

NOTICE is hereby given that the under-mentioned Licensees having neglected to apply to the Provincial Treasurer at Christchurch for their Licences, granted to them at the Annual Licensing Meeting held in May last, and to pay for the same, the Licences have been withheld, and have been referred to His Honor the Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury:—

George Basham, general license.
John Leun, ditto.
James Forrester, ditto.
Dugald M’Lachlan, ditto.

NOTICE

THE License granted by the Bench at Lyttelton, at the Annual Licensing Meeting, to David Palmer, not having been applied for to the Provincial Treasurer, has been withheld.

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has made the following Reserve, under the 43rd clause of the Waste Land Regulations, in favor of Robert Stewart, contractor, for the erection of a fence along a public road running through section 7653 in Barry’s Bay; viz.—

Twenty-seven acres of land, commencing at a point about three hundred links from the summit on the south side of the Barry’s Bay saddle, fronting on the south side of the Barry’s Bay road, and running south-westerly a distance on the average of forty chains, subject to a road, if required on survey.
