NOTICE TO WATERMEN.
NOTICE is hereby given that any Waterman plying for hire in the Port of Lyttelton without being duly licensed, as provided by the Port Regulations, is liable to a penalty not exceeding Five Pounds sterling.

PURSUANT to the provisions of the "Auctioneers’ Ordinance, Session III. No. 8;" I hereby give notice that the undermentioned persons have taken out Auctioneers’ Licenses for the term ending 30th June, 1867:—

In the matter of the Petition of Joseph Cockroft, of Christchurch, Watch and Clock Maker and Dealer, a debtor.
NOTICE is hereby given that by an order of His Honor Mr. Justice Gresson in Chambers this day the estate and effects of the said Joseph Cockroft were sequestrated and Henry Fowle Seager of Christchurch was appointed Receiver to the said estate and the said order was declared to be a vesting order pursuant to section 8 of the said Amendment Act and therefore protects the person and property of such debtor from all legal process for debt and Thursday the Twenty-third day of August next was appointed for the hearing of the said petition at the Court House Christchurch at eleven o’clock in the forenoon.

NOTICE is hereby given that by order of His Honor Mr. Justice Gresson bearing date the 26th day of June 1866 the estate of the above named William Burns was sequestrated and protection from all legal process for debts granted to the said William Burns upon his petition previously filed in the Supreme Court at Hokitika and the hearing of such petition was appointed to take place on Monday the Thirtieth day of July instant at the Supreme Court House Hokitika in the Westland District aforesaid at the hour of eleven o’clock in the forenoon.
