No. 707, in red.--Three perches, more or less, situate in the Town of Hokitika, having thirty links frontage on Revell-street, and extending back parallel to Camp street a distance of sixty links in a rectangular block, the south-western corner being one hundred and fourteen links from Camp-street---For the uses of a Fire Brigade.

No. 708, in red.--One rood and three perches, more or less, situate in the Town of Hokitika, having a frontage of one hundred and fourteen links on Revell-street, and two hundred and twenty-eight links on Camp-street, the eastern boundary being a line at right angles to Camp-street--For Police purposes.

NOTICE is hereby given that the estate of the above mentioned debtor has been sequestrated by order of His Honor Mr. Justice Gresson made on the Twenty-third day of February instant on a petition filed in this Honorable Court in pursuance of the above named Acts and Monday the Nineteenth day of March next at eleven o’clock in the forenoon has been appointed for the hearing of such petition at the Court House Christchurch. And such order was declared to be a vesting order pursuant to section 8 of the said "Debtors' and Creditors' Act Amendment Act 1865."

NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance of an order of this Honorable Court made in this matter on the Nineteenth day of February instant the further hearing of the above mentioned petition matter was adjourned to Monday the Nineteenth day of March next at eleven o’clock in the forenoon at the Court House Christchurch.

In the matter of the Petition of William Thomas Locke Travers, of Christchurch aforesaid, Gentleman, a creditor of the said debtor.

At a sitting of the said Court pursuant to the said Act :

UPON reading the petition filed herein on the Nineteenth day of October 1865 the rule or order made herein on the said Nineteenth day of October last the rule or order made herein on the Eighteenth day of December last and the affidavit of John Levett Hobden filed on the Fifteenth day of February instant and upon hearing Mr. Travers the above named creditor and Mr. Garrick of Counsel for the said Richard Taylor it is ordered that Francis James Garrick of Christchurch Gentleman do forthwith in the name and on behalf of the said debtor cede and deliver convey and assign all the estate and effects of the said debtor at the time of the filing of the said petition to William Hockley of Christchurch Gentleman and James Edwin Graham of Christchurch Gentleman they having been appointed by the Court to act as trustees of the said debtor’s estate such conveyance and assignment to be pursuant to the said Act and to contain all requisite powers for enabling the said William Hockley and James Edwin Graham to recover and receive all debts moneys goods chattels estate and effects in anyway belonging to or due payable to the said debtor upon the trusts with the powers and subject to the conditions requisite for the purpose of selling disposing of getting in and receiving or otherwise realising such estate moneys goods chattels and effects and thereout in the first place of payment of a sum of one shilling in
