ALEXANDER LEAN,

under the 18th section of the “Roads Ordinance, 1864,” to inspect the Records and Accounts of the Okains Bay Road Board.

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has made the following Reserves, temporarily, under the 19th clause of the Waste Land Regulations;

viz.,

No. 703, in red.—Four acres and six perches, more or less, situate in the Township of Greymouth, bounded on the north by Gresson Street; on the south by Swainson Street; on the south-east by Boundary Street, and on the west by Arney Street—For the uses of the Provincial Government, and particularly for Police purposes.

No. 704, in red.—One acre one rood and eight perches, more or less, situate in the Township of Greymouth, commencing at a point on the west side of Arney Street, the same being the south-eastern corner of section No. 96, following the said street in a southerly direction a distance of two hundred links, and extending back westerly a distance of six hundred and fifty links, in a rectangular block, being bounded on the west by Chapman Street—For the uses of the Roman Catholic Church.

No. 705, in red.—Two roods and sixteen perches, more or less, situate in the Township of Greymouth, commencing at a point on the eastern side of Packer Quay, the same being sixty links south of the south-western corner of section No. 181, following the said quay in a southerly direction a distance of three chains, and extending back easterly a distance of two chains, in a rectangular block—For the uses of the Provincial Government, and particularly for Police purposes.

No. 706, in red.—Thirty acres, more or less, being the river bed of the Teramakau, commencing at the north-eastern corner of the Native Reserve No. 17; thence northerly, following a line in continuation of the eastern boundary.
