Henry Whiting to the said petition annexed and therewith filed the Thirteenth day of July instant pursuant to the said Act this Court being satisfied of the truth of the matters contained in the said petition doth hereby grant an ad interim order of sequestration of the estate and effects of the said William Henry Whiting and doth direct that the estate and effects of the said William Henry Whiting be taken and held by Henry Fowle Seager of Christchurch aforesaid printer as Receiver under the said Act hereby appointed by the Court subject to such further order of the Court as may be made under or in pursuance of the said Act and this Court doth hereby appoint Tuesday the Fifteenth day of August next at eleven o’clock in the forenoon for the hearing of such petition and the proof of debts and claims of creditors at the Court House Christchurch aforesaid. And this Court doth also further order and grant an ad interim order of protection to protect the person and estate of the said William Henry Whiting from arrest execution and other legal process until further order of the Court.

In the matter of the “Debtors’ and Creditors’ Act, 1862;” and
In the matter of the Petition of Christopher Percy Soulsby of Christchurch in the Province of Canterbury lately a clerk to the Waste Lands Board of the said Province but now out of employment a debtor not in custody.

This 27th day of June 1865.

Upon the application of Mr. Bamford of Counsel for the said petitioner Christopher Percy Soulsby after reading the said petition purporting to be signed by the said petitioner such debtor as aforesaid and to be concurred in by Harold Henry de Bourbel of Christchurch aforesaid commission agent a creditor to the extent of not less than fifty pounds sterling in the whole and also certain Schedules and also an Affidavit of the said Christopher Percy Soulsby to the said petition annexed and therewith filed the twenty-sixth day of June instant pursuant to the said Act this Court being satisfied of the truth of the matters contained in the said petition doth hereby grant an ad interim order of sequestration of the estate and effects of the said Christopher Percy Soulsby and doth direct that the estate and effects of the said Christopher Percy Soulsby be taken and held by the said Harold Henry de Bourbel as Receiver under the said Act hereby appointed by the Court subject to such further order of the Court as may be made under or in pursuance of the said Act and this Court doth hereby appoint Tuesday the Fifteenth day of August next at eleven o’clock in the forenoon for the hearing of such Petition and the proof of debts and claims of creditors at the Court House Christchurch aforesaid. Upon application of Mr. Bamford of Counsel for the said Petitioner Alfred Porter after reading the said petition purporting to be signed by the said petitioner such debtor as aforesaid and to be concurred in by William Pratt of Christchurch in the Province aforesaid draper a Creditor to the extent of not less than fifty pounds sterling in the whole and also certain Schedules and also an Affidavit of the said Alfred Porter to the said Petition annexed and therewith filed the Fifth day of July instant pursuant to the said Act this Court being satisfied of the truth of the matters contained in the said Petition doth hereby grant an ad interim order of sequestration of the estate and effects of the said Alfred Porter and doth direct that the estate and effects of the said Alfred Porter be taken and held by Henry Fowle Seager of Christchurch aforesaid printer as Receiver under the said Act hereby appointed by the Court subject to such further order of the Court as may be made under or in pursuance of the said Act and the Court doth hereby appoint Tuesday the Fifteenth day of August next at eleven o’clock in the forenoon for the hearing of such Petition and the proof of debts and claims of creditors at the Court House Christchurch aforesaid.
