DECLARATIONS:
(a) DECLARATION.—I, Alexander McLean, of Motanau, do hereby solemnly declare that the Sheep, 6,480 in number, marked —, now being depastured by me at the North Bank of the Hurunui, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any Sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

Declared before me at Hastie’s, this 1st day of February, 1865.—H. RAMSAY SCARVELL, Inspector of Sheep.
(b) DECLARATION.—I, George Willesden McRae, of Glen Tekoa, Amuri, do hereby solemnly declare that the Sheep, 225 in number, marked —, now being depastured by me at the North Bank of the Hurunui, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any Sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

(c) DECLARATION.—I, Thomas Ellis, of Ashley Gorge Station, Ashley, do hereby solemnly declare that I have made a complete muster of all the Sheep in my charge, and that my Sheep, branded —, being 3,500 in number, now being at Ashley Gorge Station, have not within two months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor within two months been mixed with any Sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

(d) DECLARATION.—I, T. S. Mannering, of Birch-hill, Ashley, do hereby solemnly declare that I have made a complete muster of all the Sheep in my charge, and that my Sheep, branded —, being 3,800 in number, now being at Birch-hill, have not within two months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor within two months been mixed with any Sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

(e) DECLARATION.—I, A. H. Cunningham, of Fernside, do hereby solemnly declare that I have made a complete muster of all the Sheep in my charge, and that my Sheep, branded —, being 6,000 in number, now being at Fernside, Ashley, have not within two months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor within two months been mixed with any Sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

(f) DECLARATION.—I, J. D. Lance, of Heathstock, Hurunui, do hereby solemnly declare that I have made a complete muster of all the Sheep in my charge, and that my Sheep, branded —, being 12,000 in number, now being at Horsley Downs, have not within two months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor within two months been mixed with any Sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

(g) DECLARATION.—I, Gordon Saxby, of Highfield, Amuri, do hereby solemnly declare that the Sheep, 500 in number, marked —, now being depastured by me at the North Bank of the Hurunui, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any Sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.

(h) DECLARATION.—I, Thomas Ellis, of Ashley Gorge, Ashley, do hereby solemnly declare that I have made a complete muster of all the Sheep in my charge, and that my Sheep, branded —, being 2,500 in number, now being at Ashley Gorge, have not within two months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor within two months been mixed with any Sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.
