(a) DECLARATION. — I, George Henry Parlby, of Canterbury, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, 12 in number, marked — now on board of the vessel “Phebe,” Wheeler, Commander, now lying at Lyttelton, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.
Declared before me at Lyttelton, this 5th day of February, 1865. — WILLIAM PALFREY, Inspector of Sheep.
(b) DECLARATION. — I, Mark Sprot, jun., of Christchurch, do hereby solemnly declare that the sheep, five in number, marked — now on board of the vessel “Airedale,” Fergusson, Commander, now lying at anchor in Lyttelton harbour, in the said Province, have not within three months last past had applied to any of them any reputed scab-destroying preparation, nor been mixed with any sheep infected with scab or catarrh; and I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.
Declared before me at Christchurch, this 25th day of February, 1865. — WILLIAM PALFREY, Inspector of Sheep.
