to be an Inspector of Sheep, under the
Scab and Catarrh Ordinance, Sess. I. No. 9,
the appointment to date from the 28th December, 1853.

I hereby certify that Samuel Baswick
has this day produced before me his
Diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons,
London, and has thereby proved himself to
be qualified as a Medical Practitioner under
the Ordinance of the Provincial Council of
New Munster, Session I. No. 2, passed
the 18th of May, 1849, entitled “An Ordinance to define the Qualification, and to
provide for the remuneration in certain
cases of Medical Practitioners.”

made through the Lords Commissioners of

TENDERS
will be received at the Resident Magistrate’s Office, at Lyttelton,
on or before Tuesday, the 14th of February, for the supply of Firewood to the
Government Offices at Lyttelton, during
the year 1854.

The total supply required will be about
Fifty Cords, to be delivered upon demand
in single cords, at the Hospital, Gaol, and
Resident Magistrate’s Office; about an equal
quantity will be required during the year at
each office. The wood must be cut into
four foot lengths, and must be stacked and
measured on the premises.
