GEORGE GREY, as such Superintendent as aforesaid,
and in further exercise of the powers so delegated to
me as aforesaid, do hereby exempt from occupation
for mining purposes or for residence, or for business,
under any miner’s right or licence, all the lands
mentioned in the proclamations hereinbefore secondly
and fourthly in part recited.
And I do hereby proclaim and declare that all the
Regulations now in force in the Hauraki Gold
Mining District shall be taken to be, and shall be,
in force in the said Hauraki Gold Mining District as
newly enlarged and extended from and after the date
hereof.

come into operation within the District of
EDEN TERRACE,
as constituted under “The Highways Act, 1874.”

ways Act, 1874,” I do hereby alter and amend the
boundaries of the KAUAERANGA Highway District as
hereunder set forth.

THE KAUAERANGA HIGHWAY DISTRICT.
Amended Boundaries.
Commencing at the northernmost angle of the
Karaka South No. 2 Block: Bounded towards the
north-east by the summit of the watershed range,
which forms the north-eastern boundaries of the
Karaka South No. 2 Block and the Hape North
Nos. 1 and 2 Blocks to the easternmost angle of the
Hape North No. 2 Block last named; towards the
south-east by a line which forms part of the south-
eastern boundary of the Hape North No. 2 Block
aforesaid to the Hape Creek, and by the centre of
said creek to the termination of a right line bearing
south-easterly from the centre of Rolleston-street;
towards the south-west by the right line before
mentioned, and by the centre of Rolleston-street
aforesaid and the centre of Karaka road to a point
on the same opposite to the centre of Sandes street,
and thence by a right line bearing north-westerly to
the centre of the Karaka Creek; and towards the
north-west by the centre of the Karaka Creek afore-
said, and by lines which form part of the north-
western boundary of the Karaka South No. 2 Block
aforesaid to the northernmost angle of the said last-
named block, the place of commencement.
