THE PUHOI HIGHWAY DISTRICT.

Amended Boundaries.

Bounded towards the North by part of the southern boundary of the Lower Mahurangi Highway District from the north-western angle of the Parish of Puhoi to the north-eastern boundary of allotment No. 2 of the Parish of Ahuroa; towards the West by the eastern boundary of allotment No. 2 last-mentioned to the northern side of the road which forms the north-western boundary of allotment No. 1 of the Parish of Ahuroa aforesaid and by the northern side of the said road and the centre of the Great North Road to the termination of a right line being the production in a southerly direction of the western boundary of allotment No. 64 of the Parish of Ahuroa, thence by said right line and by the western boundary of allotment No. 64 last described and by said boundary produced in a southerly direction to the northern side of the road which forms the northern boundary of said allotment No. 64; again towards the North by said road which also forms the northern boundaries of allotments Nos. 65 and 72 of the Parish of Ahuroa aforesaid to the western boundary of the Parish of Mahurangi; towards the East by part of the western boundary of the Parish of Mahurangi aforesaid to the northern boundary of the Parish of Puhoi; again towards the North by part of the northern boundary of the Parish of Puhoi aforesaid to the north-western angle of allotment No. 116 of the Parish of Puhoi aforesaid; towards the North-east by the western boundary of allotment No. 116 last described to the Puhoi River and by said river to the sea; again towards the East by high water mark of the sea to the said North Head of the Waiwera River; towards the South by the Waiwera River aforesaid and the northern boundary of the Wainui Highway District to the south-western angle of the Puhoi Block aforesaid; and again towards the West by the western boundary of the Parish of Puhoi to the place of commencement.

THE LOWER MAHURANGI HIGHWAY DISTRICT.

Amended Boundaries.

Bounded towards the North by the southern boundary of the Upper Mahurangi District from the intersection of the last named boundary by the Great North Road to Hepburn’s Creek in the Mahurangi Harbour; towards the East by the Mahurangi Harbour aforesaid from Hepburn’s Creek to the North Head of the Puhoi River; towards the South by the Puhoi River aforesaid to the south-western angle of allotment No. 116 of the Parish of Puhoi; towards the West by the western boundary of allotment No. 116 of the Parish of Puhoi aforesaid to the southern boundary of the Parish of Mahurangi, and thence by parts of the southern and western boundaries of the Parish of Mahurangi aforesaid to the northern side of the road which forms the northern boundary of allotment No. 72 of the Parish of Mahurangi aforesaid; again towards the South by the northern side of said road continued westerly to the termination of a right line on the same in production in a northerly direction of the eastern boundary of allotment No. 13 of the Parish of Ahuroa; again towards the East by the right line aforesaid by the eastern boundary of allotment No. 13 aforesaid and by said eastern boundary produced in a southerly direction to the centre of the Great North Road aforesaid, and thence by the centre of the Great North Road aforesaid to the road which forms the northern boundary of allotment No. 1 of the Parish of Ahuroa aforesaid and by the northern side of said road to the north-eastern boundary of allotment No. 2 of said parish, thence by the north-eastern boundary of allotment No. 2 last described to the south-eastern boundary of the Parish of Ahuroa aforesaid; again towards the South by part of the south-eastern boundary of the Parish of Ahuroa aforesaid to the south-western angle of said Parish; again towards the West by part of the south-western boundary of the Parish of Ahuroa aforesaid to the north-western angle of allotment No. 31 of said parish; and towards the North-west by the north-western boundary of allotment No. 31 aforesaid, the north-western and part of the north-eastern boundary of allotment No. 32 and the north-western boundary of allotment No. 29 to the north-western angle of the last named lot, thence by a right line crossing a road one hundred links wide to the line which forms the south-eastern boundary of allotment No. 18 by said last described boundary to the centre of the Great North Road and by the centre of the Great North Road aforesaid to the southern boundary of the Upper Mahurangi Highway District, the place of commencement.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

IN pursuance of the fifteenth Section of "The Highways Act, 1874," I do hereby bring the said Act into operation within the LOWER MAHURANGI HIGHWAY DISTRICT, and I do hereby appoint the First Meeting of Ratepayers to take place at Mr. Alfred Neal’s residence, Mahurangi Heads, on Wednesday, the 25th day of October, at two o’clock in the afternoon, and Mr. William P. Mead to be Chairman of such Meeting.
