IN pursuance of the 6th clause of “The Slaughter-house Act, 1866,” it is hereby notified, for general information, that application has been made to the Superintendent by

Mr. JAMES YOUNG

for the Renewal of a Private Slaughter-house Licence to his premises on the Panmure Road.

Objections against the granting of such Licence must be lodged at this Office within one calendar month from the date of publication hereof.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the Assessment List for this District is now finally settled. The Rates to be paid to Mr. Blyth, Treasurer, at his residence, or at Adamson’s Store, Oruru.
