PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Office of the Board of Education,
Auckland, 15th October, 1873.

It is hereby notified that the Board of Education, under The Education Act, 1872, have constituted the districts hereinafter described, to be Educational Districts, under the said Act, and have appointed the times and places of meetings for the Election of District School Committees for the said Educational Districts, as hereunder set forth.

It is hereby notified that the several Chairmen of the after-named District Boards under The Highways Act, 1874, have reported in writing to the Superintendent the names of the undermentioned persons, elected as Members of the said District Boards respectively for the ensuing highway year namely:—

PAPAROA — Thomas W. Wilson, Chairman;
James Trounson, William Whitaker Ariell,
J.P., George Skelton, and George Nield.

MONOGOTO — William Maxwell, Chairman;
John Kitchen, George Thomas, Thomas Wilkinson, and Charles White.

It is hereby notified that the several Chairmen of the after-named District Boards under The Highways Act, 1874, have reported in writing to the Superintendent the names of the undermentioned persons duly elected as Auditors of the said Highway Districts respectively for the ensuing highway year, namely:—

PAPAROA — O. Haines and G. Tibbits.
TAOTAOROA — Hunt and James Hally.

It is hereby notified that the several Chairmen of the after-named District Boards, under The Highways Act, 1874, have reported in writing to the Superintendent the names of the undermentioned persons elected as Fence-Viewers for those Districts respectively, in accordance with the provisions of The Fencing Act, 1855, Amendment Act, 1874, namely:—

RANGIAOHIA — J. Rutherford and H. Moncreiff.
PAPAROA — G. Cliff and G. Tibbits.
WAIRAU — William Walker and Rowland J. Howard.

Educational Districts Notifications

PUKEKIMU EDUCATIONAL DISTRICT.

Bounded towards the north by the Waikato river from the north-western angle of lot 353 of the Parish of Te Rapa to the north-eastern angle of lot 19 of the Parish of Pukekura; towards the east by the eastern boundaries of lots 19, 18, 29, 103, and 112 of Pukekura parish aforesaid, and by a line from south-eastern angle of last-named lot to the north-eastern angle of lot 305 of the Parish of Puniu; towards the south by the northern boundaries of lots 305, 364, 292, 236, 217, and 218 of last-named parish, and towards the west by the road from the south-eastern angle of lot 218 of the Parish of Ngaroto to the north-eastern angle of lot 182 of Ngaroto parish aforesaid, thence by the northern boundaries of lots 182 and 183 of parish last named, thence by the road forming the western boundaries of lots 202, 200, 198, 192, the northern boundaries of last-named lot, and lots 193, 194, the western boundaries of lots 338, 332, 332A, 333A, 334, part of the southern boundary of lot 355, the southern boundary of lots 354 and 353, the western boundary of said lot 353, all of the Parish of Te Rapa, to the Waikato river.

Meeting to elect Committee will be held at Mr. Caley’s house, on Wednesday, 22nd September, at 2 p.m.


MOUNT ROSKILL EDUCATIONAL DISTRICT.

Bounded towards the north by the northern boundaries of lots 130, 108, 99, 72, 63, and 29 of section 10, of the suburbs of Auckland; towards the east by the Epsom and Onehunga Road from the north-eastern angle of last-named lot to the Royal Oak Hotel; thence by the road forming the southern boundary of lot 50, and part of the southern boundary of lot 51, both of section 10 of the said suburbs; thence by the eastern boundaries of lots 3 and 2 of section 13 of the suburbs aforesaid to the Manukau Harbour; towards the south by the Manukau Harbour from south-eastern angle of last-named lot to the south-east angle of lot 75 of the Parish of Titirangi; and towards the west by the eastern boundaries of lots 75, 77, 78, 67, 66, 94, and 51 of Parish last-named, thence by the road from last-named lot to the south-western angle of lot 122 of section 10 of the suburbs aforesaid; thence by the western boundaries of lots 122, 123, 124, 125, 126, 127, 128, 129, and 130 of section and suburbs last-named.

Meeting to elect a Committee will be held at the Royal Oak Hotel on Wednesday, the 22nd inst., at half-past seven.


MATAWhero EDUCATIONAL DISTRICT.

Bounded towards the east by Gisborne District; towards the west by the Ormond Educational District.
