MOUNT ROSKILL HIGHWAY DISTRICT.
At a Meeting of the Mount Roskill Highway Board held on the 11th instant, viz., 11th May, 1875—It appearing that the period of Forty clear days has elapsed since the Specifications, Plans, Maps and Sections of the proposed Road from the Mount Eden Road (“B” in plan) through lots 79 to 84 and Government Reserve to the Mount Albert and Onehunga Roads (“A” in plan) were deposited at the Office of the Board, and since notice thereof was published in the Provincial Government Gazette, and that no objections to the making of the said Road have been made by any person save one who has consented, conditionally on his getting compensation for certain land so taken from him as a Trustee of the said land, and it appearing expedient to the said Board to proceed with the making of the said Road—IT is Ordered that the said Road be made in accordance with the Specification, Maps, Plans and Sections, and it is further ordered that a copy of this Order, together with true copies of the said Specifications, Maps, Plans, and Sections so deposited aforesaid be transmitted to His Honour the Superintendent, the said Order being first published in the Provincial Government Gazette and in the Daily Southern Cross and New Zealand Herald, pursuant to the thirty-third section of “The Highway Boards Empowering Act, 1871.”

NOTICES UNDER THE “NATIVE LANDS ACT, 1873 AND 1874,” OF TIMES AND PLACES FOR INVESTIGATING CLAIMS.
NOTICE is hereby given, that the claims, on behalf of themselves and others, of the several persons whose names are mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereunder written, to the several blocks of land, of which the names and localities are mentioned in the second column, the boundaries of which are published in the Schedule hereunder, will be investigated at Herd’s Point, Hokianga, on the 7th of June next, and following days.
