I HEREBY notify that, in pursuance of the seventh
section, of "The Highways Act, 1871, Amend-
ment Act, 1871," I have appointed
Mr. JAMES BOVELL,
to be an Auditor for the TAUUANGA NORTH TOWNSHIPS
Highway District, in the place and stead of Mr.
JAMES MAXWELL, resigned.

MOUNT ROSKILL HIGHWAY DISTRICT.
AT a Meeting of the Mount Roskill District High-
way Board held yesterday, the (26th instant)
twenty-sixth day of March, 1874, it appearing that the
period of forty clear days has elapsed since the specifi-
cations, maps, plans, and sections of the proposed Road
from the termination of the Mount Eden Road to the
Onehunga and Mount Albert Road, via Three Kings,
were deposited at the office of the Board, and since
notice thereof was published in the PROVINCIAL
GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, and all objections and
evidence have been duly heard, and it appearing
expedient to the said Board to proceed with the
making of the said Road,—It is ordered that the
said Road be made in accordance with the said speci-
fications, maps, plans, and sections; and it is further
ordered, that a copy of this said order, together with
true copies of the said specifications, maps, plans, and
sections, so deposited as aforesaid, be transmitted to
His Honor the Superintendent, the said order being
first published in the PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT
GAZETTE, and in the New Zealand Herald, and Daily
Southern Cross, pursuant to the thirty-third section
of the Highway Boards Empowering Act, 1871.

Liability Companies Winding-up Act Amendment
Act, 1871."

Native Lands Court Office,
Auckland, March 16th 1874.
WHEREAS by an Order in Council, made on
the 2nd day of March, 1874, under the autho-
rity of "The Harata Patene Rehearing Act, 1873,"
it was ordered that the claim of Harata Patene, to a
piece of land, called Motutere, situate at Coromandel,
in the Province of Auckland, heard and determined
by the Native Lands Court of New Zealand, on the
21st day of January, 1870, at Kapanga, Coromandel,
should be reheard before one Judge of the said Court,
and two Assessors thereof, and that such rehearing
shall take place before the 2nd day of April next.
Now I do hereby give notice that a sitting of the
Native Lands Court will be held at Kapanga,
Coromandel, on the first day of April next, for the
rehearing of the above-mentioned Claim.
