In pursuance of the sixth clause of “The Slaughter-house Act, 1866,” it is hereby notified, for general information, that application has been made to the Superintendent by
Mr. James Young,
for the renewal of a Private Slaughter-house License to his premises on the Panmure Road.
Objections against the granting of such License must be lodged at this Office, within one calendar month from the publication hereof.

It is hereby notified that the Tolls and Fees for the twelve calendar months, commencing 1st January, 1874, enumerated in the schedule hereunder, will be offered for sale by public auction, at the Mart of Messrs. B. Tonks & Co., Queen Street, Auckland, on Monday, the 22nd instant, at twelve o’clock, noon.

- The Tolls leviable at the Panmure Bridge.
- The Tolls leviable at the Newmarket Turnpike Gate, and at the Remuera and Mount Eden Road (East) Chain Bars, together with the Fees chargeable at the Newmarket Weighbridge.
- The Tolls leviable at the Otahuhu and Slippery Creek Turnpike Gates, Great South Road.
- The Tolls leviable at the Newton Toll Gate on the Great North Road, at its junction with the Ponsonby Road.
- The Tolls leviable at the Mount Eden Road Toll Gate (next the Eden Vine Hotel), and at the Gaol Road Chain Bar; together with the Royalty leviable for Scoria Ash taken from the Gravel Pits on the Mount Eden Reserve.
- The Tolls leviable at the New North Road Toll Gate (next the Eden Vine Hotel).
- The Fees chargeable for the Supply of Water to the Shipping.
- The Fees chargeable at the Onehunga Wharf.
