SEPARATE Tenders will be received at this Office until noon of Saturday the 21st instant, for the under-mentioned Services and Supplies for the Provincial Government during the periods stated, commencing on the 1st January, 1873.
Printed forms of Tender, and copies of the conditions and specifications of the several contracts, can be obtained at this Office.

HEREBY notify that the several Chairmen of the afternamed District Boards, under “The Highways Act, 1871,” have reported in writing to the Superintendent the names of the undermentioned persons appointed Officers and Members of those Boards respectively, to supply vacancies:
OPOTIKI — Samuel Moody to be Chairman, vice Robert King, resigned. John Henry Armstrong to be a Member, vice Robert King, resigned.
RUSSELL — Chas. Berry Wastford to be Chairman, and Henry Stephenson to be a Member, vice J. H. Greenway, resigned.
PUKURANGA — William Rysdale to be Chairman, vice E. B. Walker, resigned.
KIRIKIRIROA — Mathew De Vere Hunt, vice S. T. Seddon, resigned.

Commencing at the junction of the centre of the Pukorokoro road with the confiscation boundary line, and following the confiscation boundary line in a south-easterly direction to the north-western angle of allotment No. 39 of the Parish of Koheroa aforesaid, and continuing southerly along the western boundary of allotment No. 39 of the parish last-named to the centre of the Pukorokoro road, at its south-western angle; towards the south-east by the centre of the Pukorokoro road to the south-eastern boundary of allotment No. 37 of the Parish of Koheroa aforesaid, thence by the south-eastern and part of south-western boundary of said allotment No. 37 to the centre of the Pukorokoro road aforesaid, thence continuing along the centre of said road to the Great South road; towards the south-west by the Great South road aforesaid, from Pukorokoro road before-mentioned to its junction with the centre of the road at the southern angle of allotment No. 51 of the Parish of Maungatawhiri aforesaid; and towards the north-west by the centre of said road, bounding allotment No. 51 aforesaid on the south to the western angle of allotment No. 100 of small lots known as the Bombay Settlement, thence following the southern boundary of the Parish of Opaheke to the line which forms part of the northern boundary of allotment No. 102 of the Parish of Maungatawhiri, and continuing along said line to its north-eastern angle the place of commencement.

NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with the provisions of “The Highways Act, 1871,” that certified copies of the Assessment Lists for the PAPAROA, DEDWOOD, PAKURANGA, OKAHU, ALBERTLAND NORTH, ARAI, MANGAWAI, and RUSSELL Highway Districts respectively, have been forwarded to this Office.

In pursuance of the sixth clause of “The Slaughterhouse Act, 1866,” it is hereby notified for general information, that application has been made to the Superintendent by
Mr. James Young
for the renewal of a Private Slaughter-house License, to his premises on the Panmure Road.
Objections against the granting of such License must be lodged at this Office within one calendar month from the date of publication hereof.
