SCHEDULE.
EDWARD MAJOR WEST, JOHN BATY, ROBERT WINGATE, and EDWARD THOMAS WILDMAN, of Hauraki Goldfield, miners; 15 years’ lease of 16 acres, adjoining ground held by the “Nonpareil,” “Waitemata,” “Bass Rock,” and “Golden Lion” Gold Mining Companies, Registered, known as “Interlude No. 2,” and “Supplement” Claims, together with surplus and unoccupied ground adjoining said Claims, Karaka Block; partly held under Miners’ right; application (R.B., 968) dated 6th October, 1871; withdrawn 12th December, 1871.

IT is hereby notified that the application for a Mining Lease, set forth in the Schedule hereunder, has been withdrawn.

SCHEDULE.
HUGH MACDONALD: 15 years’ lease of 16 acres quartz mining land on Peter’s Block, East of Courthouse, Coromandel; bounded on the South by Moore’s Lease, and on other sides by unoccupied ground; not held under Miners’ Rights; application dated 20th November, 1871; withdrawn 11th December, 1871.
PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.
UNDER and in pursuance of the powers and authority in me vested by “The Tamaki Bridge Act, 1864,” I do hereby notify that, on and after the twenty-second day of January, 1872, the following and no other Tolls shall be leviable at the Toll-gate, Tamaki Bridge, near Panmure, namely:—
For every Single or Saddle Horse ... 0 3
For every Carriage or Vehicle drawn by one Horse ... 0 6
For every Carriage or Vehicle drawn by two Horses ... 0 9
For every Carriage or Vehicle drawn by more than two Horses ... 1 0
For every Public Van or Conveyance carrying passengers for hire, when drawn by one or two Horses ... 1 0
Ditto, for every additional Horse above two ... 0 6
For every Dray drawn by Bullocks—every two Bullocks to be charged as one Horse ... 0 3
For all Great Cattle per head ... 0 3
For Pigs, Sheep, and Goats per head ... 0 0½
No Toll to be levied on Foot-passengers.
Provided that all Vehicles with wheels of a breadth not less than six inches shall only be liable to one-half the above rates of Toll.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers in me vested in that behalf by “The Impounding Act, 1867,” I do hereby appoint those premises situated within the boundaries of the TAURANGA NORTH TOWNSHIP HIGHWAY DISTRICT, being allotments Nos. 83 and 84, of Section No. 2, in the Township of Tauranga, Parish of Te Papa, Cook’s County, bounded towards the North by Allotment No. 82, 236 links, on the East by Allotments Nos. 81 and 86, 212 links, on the South by Allotment No. 85, 236 links, and on the West by a street 200 links wide, 212 links; to be and be used as a Public Pound for the purposes of the said recited Act.
