set forth in the following Schedule may be taken and
charged by the said keeper.

SCHEDULE.
FEES AND PRICES TO BE TAKEN AND CHARGED BY POUNDKEEPERS.

I.—Poundage Fees.

For every Horse, Mare, Gelding, Colt, Filly,
Foal, Mule, or Ass ... 2 6
", Bull, Cow, Ox, Steer, Heifer, or Calf ... 2 6
", Ram, Ewe, Wether, or Lamb—
For the first twenty ... 0 2
The next thirty ... 0 1½
The next fifty ... 0 1
All others above 100 ... 0 0½
", Boar, Sow, or other Pig ... 1 0
", Goat or Kid ... 1 0

The above fees to be paid for each day, or part of
a day, during which the animal is kept in pound.

II.—Charges for Food.

For every Horse, Mare, Gelding, Colt, Filly,
Foal, Mule, or Ass ... 1 0
", Bull, Cow, Ox, Steer, or Heifer ... 0 6
", Calf under six months ... 0 2
", Sheep or Lamb ... 0 1
", Goat or Kid ... 0 2
", Boar, Sow, or other Pig ... 0 6

The above charges to be paid for each day or part
of a day, during which the animal is supplied with
food and water by the Poundkeeper, but the owner
may supply food and water, in which case these
charges are not to be made.

III.—Charges for giving notice of Impounding.

The charge for giving notice of the impounding
of Cattle to the owner thereof, or his agent shall
be computed at the rate of one shilling for every
mile or part of a mile of the distance between the
public pound and the usual place of residence of
such owner, or agent as the case may be.

IV. Charges for giving public notice under the 20th
Section of the said Act of the Impounding of Cattle

For posting notice of Impounding on Pound ... 0 6
For posting notice of Impounding at
the nearest Post Office and Police Station ... 0 2 6
For inserting notice of Impounding The usual charges
in the Provincial Gazette or any other local Paper ... for such advertisements.

Meeting of the Ratepayers of the Poverty Bay
Highway District has reported in writing to the
Superintendent the names of the undermentioned
persons, duly elected as members of the District
