The charge for giving notice of the impounding
of Cattle to the owner thereof or his agent shall be
computed at the rate of one shilling for every mile
or part of a mile of the distance between the public
pound and the usual place of residence of such owner
or agent, as the case may be.
IV.—Charges for giving public notice under the 20th Section of the said Act of the Impounding of Cattle.

Takapuna.

THE undersigned, MARTIN SHOLL, hereby make
application to register the “TARARU BATTERY
GOLD MINING COMPANY (Registered),” under the
provisions of “The Mining Companies Limited
Liability Act, 1865,” and “The Mining Companies
Limited Liability Act Amendment Act, 1869,” and I
do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following
statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge,
true in every particular, namely:—
- The name and style of the Company is the
“Tararu Battery Gold Mining Company (Registered).” - The place of operations is at Tararu Creek, the
ground comprising the “Ballarat Kohinoor,” Queen
Bee,” Leek” and “Ballarat Kohinoor Nos. 1 & 2” claims,
Thames Gold Field, in the Province of Auckland,
in the Colony of New Zealand. - The nominal capital of the Company is Sixteen
thousand Pounds sterling in Eight thousand shares
of Two Pounds each. - The amount paid-up in cash is Nil, and the
amount allotted to the shareholders is Fourteen
thousand Pounds or One Pound fifteen shillings per
share paid-up, being the estimate value of the mine
and expenditure heretofore incurred in working the
same. - The name of the Manager is Martin Sholl.
- The Office of the Company is in Queen street,
Auckland. - The names and several residences of the shareholders, and the number of shares held by each at
